Uzbekistan. Understanding what's what on the Silk road. Begin with arriving in the main city, Tashkent. Overnight n off to Uzbeks' very own bullet train, the Afrosiyab. Noting compared to Japan's Shikansen or French TGV, but it does the job. Bukhara, Samarkand n Tashkent, takes you back in time. The grandeur atchitectures, the ambience n the people. People were quiet and not too loud. The food is good, though it takes some adjustments. For the Muslims, it's time to visit the scholars' place, Bahaudi Nakshabandi, Imam Bukhari mouseleum n the Quran with Caliph Uthman blood. Expect a good walk to all areas as the buses usually stop quite a distance away due to access. Please prepare upfront.
