What an amazing experience!! It was great to tick off a bucket list item and the fact the process was made easy with nice accommodation made the experience as good as it could’ve been! We also had fun and accommodative drivers and tour guides as well! So my friends and I are very grateful for the experience and would recommend this experience to anyone else!!
This experience was so amazing! Thank you Visit South America for setting this up and putting everything together! This was my first time visiting Bolivia and it has always been a dream of mine to see the uyuni salt flats ! I went with 6 of my friends and Visit South America had made our experience so special and easy! From the moment we were picked up to the transfers to hotels. We are also social media content creators and they were really patient when it came to us capturing content! They even set up cool activities for us to get unique content there! They made our overall experience so memorable and will be returning and booking with them again!!!
If you’re planning a trip to Bolivia, I can’t recommend VisitSouthAmerica enough. Our 4-day tour in Uyuni and the surrounding areas was absolutely amazing. Every part of the trip exceeded our expectations, and I’m so glad we chose them. Our tour guides were incredible – not only did they take the best photos (all of which are from them!), but they were also super knowledgeable, kind, and really made sure we were having the best time. We got to do everything we hoped for, from having a delicious lunch on the salt flats to hiking higher up Volcan Tunupa than we thought was possible. They were super flexible, and even when tiny issues came up, they handled everything so smoothly. The accommodations were a big surprise too! Staying in a hotel made entirely of salt and the highest hotel in the world? That’s definitely something not many people can say they’ve done. But honestly, the highlight for me was how the VisitSouthAmerica team helped me pull off the perfect proposal to my (now) fiancé. They set me up with an amazing photographer and helped plan everything to make it one of the most memorable moments of our lives. Overall, this was hands down the best part of our trip to Bolivia and one of the most unforgettable travel experiences we’ve had. Huge thanks to VisitSouthAmerica for making it all happen!
We relied on them for the journey from San Pedro to Uyuni and back by car to San Pedro. Everything organized in detail and everything perfect. An applause to the incredible assistance had on site and especially by Sofia who had the patience to exchange with me dozens and dozens of emails. She was exceptional and patient. Guide and driver were very nice, prepared and adapted the tour times to our needs. Wonderful hotels. Tayka is a hotel run by wonderful people. Food level, clean and frankly warm. From that point of view we had a great time. A note to all those who undertake this journey: do not underestimate the altitude. The night in Tayka was baffled by altitude sickness but this depends on individual adaptation I just wanted to emphasize it. A fabulous trip that I would do a thousand times. Choose Visit South America because they were wonderful.
