What to Expect Your adventure begins with a morning pickup from your accommodation in Mestia. Settle into a comfortable 4x4 vehicle—essential for the mountain roads—and start your ascent toward the Enguri Valley. First Stop: Mount Ushba Panorama Shortly after leaving Mestia, you’ll stop at a prime viewpoint overlooking Mount Ushba (4,710 m). Known as the “Matterhorn of the Caucasus,” its twin‑peaked, sheer ridges dominate the skyline.
