Too short.

There were several hand offs from guide to theatre, guide to capital guide, and somewhat shorter than we expected and then left to fend for ourselves in Library of Congress. Also, I was charged twice for this tour.

Operator response

Hi There! Thanks for your feedback. While we do offer tours that include the Library of Congress and that run a little longer, the option you booked was the 2 hour tour that included the US Capitol and Supreme Court only. We wish we did not have to hand off our guests in the Capitol however due to security constraints this is a requirement. We would love to guide our guests the whole way! Sorry to hear about the double charge. We do not handle payments on this platform but have notified customer service to look into that for you.

Thank you James

If you can afford it, always worth paying for a local tour guide to give you a deeper and personal understanding and experience. Otherwise you miss SO much wandering around on your own. We visited Capitol Hill and finished in Congress library. Much of the tour is delivered by the official federal government employees but complemented by unscripted. We had JAMES as our tour guide who provided a high energy, funny and informative tour of some of the great iconic sites of Washington DC. Highly recommend.

Our guide, Shane, was very knowledgeable and gave a great tour. He gave us plenty of time to see attractions and then answer a questions we had. His voice was strong enough for us all the hear and he was quite pleasant to talk to. I would highly recommend this tour to all.

Well worth your time!!

Liam was an amazing tour guide! Giving us more than just the "brochure facts," he brought special insight to the places we visited on the tour, as well as fun facts about historical figures. He pointed out items in the Capitol building that our appointed Capitol Guide overlooked, such as a plaque on the floor indicating where Abe Lincoln's desk was located.

Informative, high-energy and well designed tour

Shawn was our guide and he was simply awesome! Super informative, absolutely fun to be with, and someone who genuinely had a passion for history & politics. The tour was well-conducted, with key stops at both locations, fun facts and laughs peppered throughout, ensuring all of us were involved. We had some lovely surprises included too (not sharing them here, either) and also, offers from Shawn to click our pictures when we liked a pose :) All in all, will definitely consider other Unscripted tours the next time!
