We thought the floating islands was far to commercialised . The tour guide was difficult to understand because she was speaking to languages
Very informative, enthousiastic and energetic guide named Guido. Beautiful lake. A worthwile experience, well organised.
Spectacular with Abel as a guide. One of the best cultural experiences ever in Uros. & food in Tequile was perfect.
Very amazing experience to see how these people live. Our tour guide explained in detail their culture. Highly recommend this tour.
The pickup was on time to take us to the docks on Lake Titicaca. The first stop was on the man-made floating Uros Islands. The locals, who make their money by selling their handmade crafts, were quite friendly and receptive. The singing and dancing felt exploitative, and there wasn't much to view on the islands as it appeared to be impoverished. The next stop was Taquile Island. The path to the main area is tough for those who are not in good cardiovascular shape. The altitude makes it hard to breathe, so we took our time walking up the path. We had the same experience with the locals on this island as we did on the Uros Islands. There were lunch and a local show, and this also felt exploitative. Once we finished lunch, we headed back down to depart back to the mainland. The Viajes Pacifico tour guides were very professional and knowledgeable about Lake Titicaca. This was the second tour we had with the company. In both cases, the service was great. I highly recommend them for your Peruvian tours.

They said they pick me up but they didn't. I lost few hours of the tour. At 9.30 am called my hotel and ask them to drop me off to where they were... it was so quick and the English translatorer didn't really explain much about the tour. She spoke mainly Spanish. I don't recommend it to English speaking tourists.
I took the overnight experience in a local family on the Amantani Island. First of all, I had to say that I made a mistake in the date when I booked the tour. I was in Puno on July 29-august 1st but I booked it for August 30th instead of July 30th. I realised the day before and they were able to find me a spot for the next morning. I received a really great service. More about the experience, I really liked the tour. We were able to see how they live on the Amantani Island. The family served us very good food (but only vegetarian food). The breakfast was really small (only two pancakes), but the lunch and the diner was really good. We had also a dance at night where the women tourist could wear the typical clothing and us (men) were wearing poncho. The only thing I did not really like was the fact that it was very touristic. I felt that the family, sometimes and for good reasons, did not want to be there; like they were forced to make us live a good experience. Otherwise, great experience. I recommend it!

Reed island was very cool. Very informative and beautiful Islands. A nice lunch was provided - trout but a bit too salty. Salt to preserve the fish. Interesting culture learning their some of their cultures, how they live, dress, clean the hair of sheep, Alpaca and Llama and weaving garments and dance. Beautiful views of Lake Titicaca.

A visit to the Uros Indians is definitely worth making. Here you can learn how they live and build their huts. A trip with a self-built boat is also possible for small money.

The guide was a Spanish and English guide, which wasn't bad except for the fact that I was he only one in my group that spoke English, not the guides fault by any means. However, the company running the tour had two groups that day and the other group was full of English speakers so it was rather upsetting that they couldn't have put me the only English speaker in that group :/
