Hana was an awesome guide, very knowledgeable about many different topics! We saw a variety of scenes from Grottos to temple, to black sand beaches.
Tracy organized an absolutely incredible experience for us today, sensational, memorable, and seriously one of a kind. Gana was our tour guide and brought an abundance of island knowledge. From amazing waterfalls and a boat ride out to the Olympic swells, to a delicious lunch right by the ocean and cracking open macadamia nuts straight from the source, we packed it all in. Could not recommend this tour more highly. Thank you Tracy and Gana!!
Gana was a terrific guide and shared a lot of interesting information about the island, the plants, and the Polynesian culture. We especially enjoyed the wayer garden. Highly recommended.
Where do I begin.. After reading a negative review and some positive ones, I will say this.. This tour was amazing and Tracy was awesome. Yes, it was informative and educational, as one negative review disliked that part. You should be informed of the Islands history, culture, economics, local government workings, and so on, to appreciate the island and surrounding islands. Our group of 8 adults had a truly good experience and left the French polynesia with a great respect and appreciation for the local people and all aspects of the islands. Now back to the tour, one word, Amazing!! Tracy was very amazing and informative, and one heck of a photographer. She captured many great group pics of us that we will remember. This was one of the best tours I have ever been apart of, out of many that I have been, on. The beauty spots as well as the culture lesson, aspect was top notch. Not just some regular tourist, tour, that takes you to tourist traps in order for you to spend your money. Not this one. We were all satisfied and truly had a good time. Thank you very much Tracy and for the amazing pics you took of us, with our phones. If you have ample time in Tahiti, please dont waste your trip at just the resort, take this tour and enjoy time to learn a thing or two about where you are visiting. It will make your trip a better one. 'Ia Ora Na
We had an amazing day exploring the West Coast of Tahiti with Unique Tahiti, guided by the wonderful Tracey. This tour was personal, insightful, and filled with unforgettable stops that truly showcased the heart of Polynesia. We visited a cozy local market in Pa'ea, the charming Saint Francois Xavier Church, and the impressive Marae ‘Arahurahu, where Tracey brought the island’s history to life. The coastline offered even more highlights, including Taharuu Beach, the peaceful Jardin d’Eau de Vaipahi waterfall, and a visit to Teahupoo, home of the 2024 Olympic surfing events. Lunch at La Plage de Maui was delicious and beautifully located right by the water. On the way back, we stopped at Tahitian Secret, a local vanilla producer, and the mystical Grottos de Mara’a. Tracey was exceptional throughout the day — knowledgeable, fun, and genuinely passionate about sharing the culture and stories of Tahiti. It felt like traveling with someone who truly understands what makes this island special. A huge thank you for an unforgettable experience. We highly recommend Unique Tahiti Tours to anyone visiting the island.
Tracey was so accommodating when I was unable to book a full day tour. I chose instead to do a half day tour of the west coast, with Gana as my guide. Lots of interesting stops and Gana was an excellent and informative guide. Highly recommended.
Great tour with Tracey. Much to see. Great lunch by the beach. Possibility to combine with the boat tour to observe the waves in Tehuapoo . Tracey knows a lot, has a great sense of humour and a big heart.
Thanks Sylvia, thank you for sharing your experience touring with us. The big heart must be a reference to helping the stray dogs - we do what we can and help wherever possible - best wishes to you
After some initial irritation as the operator changed the time then didn’t permit cancellation, we made the new timing work and this was a brilliant afternoon. Mihi was an excellent guide, who really gave us a great insight into Tahiti Nui and showed us some great locations. It was a great way to gain a better understanding of the island’s culture and traditions- and all very relaxed. Comfortable van, water, fruit and good timekeeping. Highly recommended.
We’re so pleased you had a brilliant afternoon with Mihi! She loves showing guests the deeper side of our culture and traditions beyond the typical sights. This is key to all our tours and we specialise in creating experiences that go beyond our guests expectations - exposing our guests to 'the real life' on Tahiti Thank you again for adjusting your plans to the afternoon. We understand that since all our tickets are sold as non-refundable, it can cause some initial concern. However, please rest assured that if a guest cannot make a time change that we initiate, we provide a full and easy refund via Viator. We appreciate your patience and are so happy you found the tour highly recommended!
Domonique was excellent and very informative. We had a great day and covered a lot of topics and history of the islands. The van was very comfortable.
We cannot say enough wonderful things about Traci. She was warm, thoughtful, and incredibly attentive, and she curated our tour in a way that felt perfectly tailored to us. More than just showing us the highlights, she went above and beyond to share a personal and authentic side of Tahiti that made the experience unforgettable. Her care, knowledge, and genuine hospitality made us feel so welcomed, and we are truly grateful for the time we spent with her. We would recommend Traci without hesitation to anyone wanting a beautiful and meaningful experience in Tahiti.
