Description
We will begin our day with a transfer from your accommodation in El Calafate to Los Glaciares National Park. Along Route 11, you'll see the Patagonian steppe with its unique flora and fauna, and the majestic Lake Argentino. Our expert guides will share the region’s history, ecology, and geology, unveiling its secrets. Upon entering the park, we’ll stop at the Mirador de los Suspiros for your first view of Brazo Rico and the imposing south face of Perito Moreno Glacier. We will explore the park’s 5-kilometer trail network, offering panoramic views that will leave you breathless. For an even closer look, an optional boat ride (if selected) takes you near the glacier’s towering walls, where you may witness its spectacular icefalls. At first drive with magnificent panoramas to access the glacier. A breathtaking site of beauty and grandeur. Prefer parking 2 going up to the glacier , the population is divided by 5 . Stair path with several panoramas, really doable rather than take the mini bus , it is more authentic and provides a real walk. We loved it, a must in Argentina
Best for those who don't have a car. You can get there in just 1.5 hours. One of the best lifetime experiences
A fantastic experience. It was well organized and guided well beyond expectations! Extra information during the trip was in Spanish and English. A comfortable and modern bus made the trip a pleasure for the group of about 20 people .
Our guide Silvia was highly knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful. The tour was well organized. The sites are breathtaking!
Wonderful! We must not miss this unforgettable place! If you are lucky enough to see Glacier sag Exceed the expectations you have!
The Perito Moreno Glaciers are beautiful! Trip of a lifetime. The reason I cannot recommend this particular tour is that I cannot recommend Viator. The passenger details, when booking from overseas, seem to be passed through many different tour companies and many different hands. I was terribly disappointed in this trip as because my name was missing from the list of "Paid Passengers" I was denied the boat trip amongst the glaciers! This was the highlight of the tour. In Argentina, if they cannot see the money, there is no service. They have no use for confirmations or booking numbers or emails. The rest of the tour comprised of pick up by a local tour company from your hotel, commentary by a loud voiced but well meaning tour guide (in English and Spanish) and a drive out to the glacier scenic lookouts. You could probably hire a car or book locally when you arrive. Don't use Viator. Not worth it.
Tour was a very convenient way to visit the glacier, and the views were amazing. Guide was helpful and informative
Wonderful landscapes, the beauty of the glacier is shocking, it is worth all the money in the world, you really have to see it! It's worth all the money in the world
This was the second time we went to Périto Moreno. But we were still just as amazed, under the spell of this glacier that we never tire of looking at. I would add that we were also satisfied with the organization of the excursion and the driver-guide tandem.
I made the booking one day before the trip. I called the agency during the booking to confirm that it is still possible to do it because it is only one day before - they assured me that it is ok. I called again in the morning to confirm the pick up JUST TO BE ON THE SAFE SIDE - again they assured me that everything is ok and that I should be ready at 10:15 for pick up. At 10:45 they send me an email canceling the trip! Worst organization ever - save your nerves and avoid this agency at all cost. And believe the reviews here as it seems like this is not the first time they have done it!!!!!!!
