We had a fantastic day out! Our guide, Mimi, was amazing. She took us to Viscri, a beautiful Romanian village, and then on to Sighisoara - which is just stunning. She showed us the main sights - including some hidden gems - and gave us so much information along the way. Other than perhaps balancing our time so we had a little longer in Sighisoara, it was a perfect day. I highly recommend it.
Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re delighted to hear that you had such a fantastic day exploring Viscri and Sighișoara with Mimi. She truly loves sharing both the famous highlights and those hidden gems that make the experience extra special, so your feedback will mean a lot to her. We also appreciate your note about the time balance in Sighișoara — that’s very helpful, and we’ll definitely keep it in mind as we continue improving our tours. It was a pleasure having you with us, and we hope to welcome you back for another adventure in Romania! 😊
Mimi was such a great host and guide! We had good discussions in the car already and she she was so knowledgeable on so many topics!

Wonderful tour with an excellent guide Bianca, who took me to three interesting sites north of Braşov, the highlight being Sighişoara. Very informative and beautiful sites.
Thank you so much for your kind review! We’re delighted you enjoyed the tour with Bianca—she’ll be very happy to hear your feedback. Sighișoara is truly a highlight, and we’re glad you found the sites both beautiful and informative. We hope to welcome you again for another tour in Romania! 😊
She explained everything slowly and in simple words, which was very helpful since we don’t understand English well. She also kindly guided us to free restrooms, which we really appreciated. I highly recommend this tour company!
Thank you so much for your kind review! 😊 We’re very happy to hear that the explanations were clear and easy to understand — it’s always important to us that everyone feels comfortable and included, regardless of language level. We’re also glad the small practical details, like helping you find free restrooms, made your day easier. Thank you for your recommendation — we truly appreciate it and hope to welcome you back to Romania! 🇷🇴✨ Warm regards, Bogdan Transylvania Discovery Tours
It was ok, guide barely spoke english, he did his best though. Basically, he dropped me off at the attractions and let me explore on my own.
I really enjoyed my day visiting sights, east of Brasov. My guide, Bogdan, met me at my hotel and drove me to several sights to make for a pleasant day, despite the afternoon thunderstorm. He tailored the tour to where my interests lie and was patient as we navigated tricky cobblestone streets and narrow passage ways in a castle. I had a fantastic travel experience. I liked that did the tour with a solo traveler.
great places to visit and great to do at our own pace as some places we didn't need as long and it was great our driver aloud us the flexibility to spend longer where we wanted
Firstly, I was pleasantly surprised to find out I was the only customer on this tour. Which made it a lot easier to manage the time visiting all the lovely citadels and city - from Rupea, the UNESCO town of Viscri to Sighisoara, a day well spent. I would highly recommend the trip to anyone wanting to have a broad sense of these cities, the history and the people living here.
The country side, fortified churches, storks, villages and friendly people make Transylvania an amazing place to visit. It's like stepping back in time. Be ready for a lot of driving on this trip as well as a lot of walking. Our guide, DB, was awesome also. He was knowledgeable about every area. He was flexible when we showed interest in the storks or any buildings by pulling over at a good place to take pictures. He also came prepared with raincoats and umbrellas! Thanks for the journey!
Florin was an informative and interesting companion on this tour - he gave us options to choose from and delivered a varied day trip which included an Orthodox cave church & pilgrimage site , along with some insights into local industry and history with visits to carpet makers and millers, all with the Carta abbey & Sibiu walking tour thrown in! A long but rewarding day to cover this area of Transylvania and highly recommended .
