Underwater Scooter Dive (Certified Divers Only) Makena Wailea

We had an incredible scuba dive with Mike from NeverDry Divers in Maui. We did a shore dive with underwater scooters, explored caves, and saw an amazing variety of marine life, including a shark, turtles, an octopus, an eagle ray, and plenty of colorful fish and coral. Mike was an excellent guide - knowledgeable, professional, and fun - and he took tons of great photos throughout the dive. It was a memorable experience from start to finish. Highly recommend NeverDry Divers and Mike for anyone looking for an unforgettable Maui dive.

Fabulous, awesome and super fun. My first shore dive. We spent 80" minutes under water exploring the Makena beach landing area. Caverns and reefs. Weather was to rough to do the swim through and caves. Mike takes Excellent photos and sends them out to you. Call ND to book your diving experience and explore the magic of Maui. Five Star Company! Micheal the owner knows his stuff. I have dove many times in Maui with several different operators. I saw more new things today than all the other dives combined. Booked one day in advance even and he made a two tank day work with his schedule even. My only regret is I didn’t call him sooner.

We did 3 dives with Never Dry and Mike and enjoyed them all. He was very professional but also super helpful, flexible and very knowledgeable on the fish and other little animals. He also took a bunch of photos of us and what we saw (loads of turtles, sharks, lobster, octopi, shrimp, etc) and emailed them to us. My highlights were all the caves we went in, the incredible visibility out on Molokini crater and the whales singing all the time.

Fantastic guide in Mike, nice, knowledgeable, and super laid back, but we felt very well taken care of. Got to see turtles sharks, octopi, and just beautiful coral. Scooters are easy to use and really help extend range

Wonderful time diving with Mike. Our 2nd dive was with the scooterjets which was our 1st time. We loved it! Mike is an excellent diver and leader.

I first went diving with NeverDry 3 years ago. This time, I brought my teenage boys as well. Our first dive was a shore dive to 5 caves where we saw multiple sharks, turtles, eels, and fish of many kinds. Our second dive was out on the scuba jets. This was a first for all of us (I have over 600 dives and my kids over 30each). There was a minor learning curve, but then we had a blast! Out of a week full of activities on Maui, diving with Mike at NeverDry was our favorite one and we will repeat next time we head to Maui. Great Company. Professional Divers. Awesome Dives.

Looking forward to doing this again. We went to St Anthony's wreck. The scooter is super light (unlike the other scooter options on-island) and Michael is the friendliest, most easygoing guy that you'll ever meet. The briefing was thorough, covering all the things that can go wrong (and nothing did) as well as emphasize the fun of it. Recommended!

My dad and I did two dives with Mike in May 2021. Mike is very patient, knowledge, and the whole experience felt very safe and personalized. One of the dives we did was a scooter dive off Makena Beach - it was so much fun and we were able to see a ton. Would highly recommend as a scuba experience in Maui.

First time using a scooter and totally worth it. Michael is amazing at getting you to exciting places via shore dives. We weaved in and out of coral and out to see the largest eel I have ever seen. 2nd dive in caves , sharks, fish, etc. Michael sends you pictures as part of the dive and I always look forward to diving with him every trip to Maui.
