Really fun! Maybe a little packed, but the show was great. Definitely worth the watch and you should get there a little earlier to get a seat. Some of the other tourist weren’t so pleasant and left before the show had even finished so they could rush out. Which was incredibly rude. So if you go to this show make sure you stay to the end to be respectful to the dancers!
You should book your ticket before, It’s a little bit hot and sunny before the show, but better be there before
We didn’t connect with the experience, we honestly didn’t finish understanding what it represented. It is interesting and the context is very beautiful, watching the sunset in the temple. As for the experience with Viator it was great, we bought the ticket 2hs before the show and as soon as I finished the purchase I received a message from our guide. He indicated the meeting point and was there ready with our tickets.
“Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We’re happy to know that you enjoyed the beautiful atmosphere and sunset at Uluwatu Temple, and that our team could assist you smoothly with your booking. We’re sorry to hear that you didn’t fully connect with the performance. The Kecak dance is a traditional Balinese story from the Ramayana, and we understand it can be a bit challenging to follow without some background explanation. Your feedback means a lot to us, and we will continue improving how we share the story so future guests can have a deeper and more enjoyable experience. We truly hope to welcome you again on your next visit.”
the guide was very kind and waited for us though we were running a bit late. he got us in in the back and secured the best seats for us, even though the others were queuing for an hour before the show
The show is amazing, can recommend. This does not include any guided tour, only the tickets. For some reason we thought it's a tour as well.
Watch out for her things for the monkeys and arrive early to enjoy the visit before the show
I went alone to watch the Kecak Dance performance in Uluwatu, and it was an amazing experience. Even though I was by myself, I felt completely safe and comfortable. The temple’s cliffside location with the ocean view at sunset was truly stunning. The Kecak performance was very captivating, especially with the beautiful sunset in the background. The whole atmosphere felt magical. It’s also perfect for solo travelers like me who want to experience Balinese culture firsthand. Tickets were easy to buy and the entry process was well-organized.
The Kecak dance in Uluwatu is one of the best cultural performances I've ever seen. The dancers’ energy was incredible.
I saw the line at the venue—it was super long and exhausting to wait. This ticket is a bit more expensive, but I got in quickly and found a great spot for the sunset.
The ticket price is commensurate with the experience. Watching a cultural performance on a cliff overlooking the sunset without having to queue is truly extraordinary.
