Great experience of the art nouveau architecture in beautiful Riga. The guide was knowledgeable and considerate, even bringing her car so we could escape the rain and cold.
We had a great time discovering art nouveau architecture in Riga with Zanda. She is incredibly knowledgeable and personable. We saw some phenomenal 19th/20th century buildings and learned a lot about Latvia's history. Zanda also provided us with great recommendations to check out in the city and was able to customize our tour to meet our interests. Overall, excellent experience!
Before I came to Riga, I didn't realize so many of Art Nouveau building here. But a good guide is very important. Iveta Vanaga is great. She is so knowledgeable. With a comfortable pace she showed every building and every details. We even stopped at a very beautiful gallery. Without a good guide I wouldn't have so much fun.
My guide Zanda was bright and informative, with fun stories as well as many historical details I would never discover alone. The city is so beautiful, with rich layers and so much to see and taste. The architecture is kept in good repair and there is even a little museum to see what these lovely places look like inside. This was a wonderful tour.
