Head to the entrance of Udawalawe National Park to meet your personal experienced jeep driver. Hop into a robust 4x4 vehicle, providing access to the park's rugged terrain and optimal animal viewing. Udawalawe, one of Sri Lanka's largest parks, boasts a significant. Asian elephant population, with herds sometimes reaching 100. Encounter diverse wildlife like jungle cats, fishing cats, gray langurs, toque macaques, foxes, bandicoots, mongooses, jackals, wild boar, and water buffalo. Your guide will share insights about the park's ecology. Choose between morning or afternoon departures for flexibility. Pickup Locations & Times
The guests should verify the pickup time and location with Less Taxi. Passengers within 3km from the Udawalawa National Park main entrance are picked up at the hotel FREE OF CHARGE. Passengers above 5km hotels are picked up at a cost. Pickups above 5km can be arranged at a cost. After the tour is done, we may drop the passenger on the point where we picked. Also, we can arrange any transport within the country at discounted prices. You'll be notified with all exact driver details before pickup.

I'm super picky with everything, trust me it's hard for me to say good things about a business but less taxi was amazing! I was highly impressed! Always had someone to communicate with via whatsapp. The drivers were always on time, even before, and they were super polite! I couldnt recommend it more

Booked and piad in full, conformation by email and app a privare jeep safari at Udawalawe park, collection at hotel 5km from park. After 1 hr still no show or response from messaging tour operator. Took taxi to park gates. Messaged for 1 hr back and forth, send google maps pin of location. Confirned was at Udawalawe park gates. 'Dont worry sir jeep is 15 min away' after 1 hr had a message that jeep was ready. phone call from driver at Yala National park? We are not at Yala and our booking was Udawalawe park. So had to book a second jeep from the park at extra cost. So lost 2 hrs from a 4 hr jeep safari. My 2 young kids had to stand in the su. Whilst this disaster unfolded. Complere incompetantace from Less Taxi tour operator. Still waiting for refund plus cost of 2 x taxi. Terrible experience and total waste of our time and money. We never got the 4 hr safari we paid for and as a result seen fewer animals. Do not use this company.
I had a great time in Udawalawe, went for the early AM safari. Got picked up always on time from my hotel in Unawatuna. Then we have met the jeep driver just few mins drive from the entrance. You do have to pay separately for the entrance(need a passport, or a copy and can be paid by card), the jeep hire and the pick up/drop off from the hotel. All went smoothly, weather was amazing, saw plenty of elephants, birds, monkeys, crocs...no big cats, but they said it's rare to spot one.

The drivers were always punctual and communicative via WhatsApp, and it was easy to arrange bookings tailored to exactly what I wanted. We had a wonderful time in the national Park and it worked out well that we started in weligama and went to Ella afterwards. All in all we had a great experience and used less Taxi at least 4 more times on our Trip in Sri Lanka because it was so easy to organize

Nice safari of about 3 hours made. Seen a lot of elephants, that's what we were doing. Clear communication via whatsapp, everything was neat and arranged on time. Recommended!
