What makes this activity truly unique is you and the people behind it. The idea for this experience actually came from one of my guests. One day, they wanted to see how Balinese jewelry is made, so I took them to my family’s workshop. I explained the process, our home concept, and Balinese culture — and they loved it. They suggested I create an activity where travelers could not only make their own jewelry but also learn about our traditions and way of life. And that’s how this experience was born. We are a skilled, friendly, and passionate team of local silversmiths with more than 15 years of experience. As Balinese natives who speak English fluently, we’re proud to share not just our craft, but also stories about our culture, history, and traditional house philosophy. Another special thing about us — some of our team members are also professional tour guides, ready to help you explore even more of Bali. We can’t wait to welcome you and share our world with you soon!

From the moment we arrived everyone was so friendly and accommodating. We had the 7 gram silver package and my wife and I made 2 silver rings. It was a fantastic experience and we would recommend it to anyone!

Wonderful activity! I chose the 1.5hr 5g experience and I feel like it was the perfect balance of time and amount of silver. I was able to make three separate pieces. The staff was very polite and helpful. Worth the trip.

Absolutely loved this. The setting is so beautiful and peaceful - right out in the middle of the greenery of Ubud, away from the busyness of the town. The jewellery instructors were very friendly and patient, with excellent English and great ideas to help us choose what jewellery we wanted to make. We travelled from Legion to do the 1.5 hour class; it’s a 2 hour trip to get there so we didn’t think we would have enough time to do the 3 hour class. If we were staying closer to Ubud, we would definitely have done the 3 hour class. We were so happy with the jewellery we made, the setting and the whole experience! We would definitely do this one again and highly recommend!
We were assisted by very talented staff in making the most beautiful pieces of jewellery this arvo. My partner and I took our 2 kids ages 14 & 9 for this experience today. Though my hyperactive 9yo gets bored super quickly and is not patient at all, he was able to keep himself occupied with their very friendly pet dogs and open yard, whilst my partner and the assistant (who was very patient) finished off his incredible piece for him to take home. Highly reccomend. We did have trouble finding this place but only because it was absolutely pouring rain. Despite being super soaked, the experience made it worth it. 🙂
Our time with Ubud Silver Class by Genuine Bali Experience (GBE) was unlike any other! Our host and instructors Gande & Anhi were so detailed in their approach, extremely patient with myself and my partner and just gave an overal warm and welcoming feeling. The family run and owned business is nestled in a beautiful forested and calm area with two cute and friendly dogs. Plenty of surrounding activities to partake if you wish - traditional cooking and painting lessons. This is definitely a must visit and recommend the 3hr package as this is the best valued package for sure. Thanks again and will be back hopefully for more!!! Sam & Jess
