Ubeda and Baeza. South Renaissance (Tickets included)

Description
These guided tours of the two cities, declared World Heritage Sites since 2003, are ideal for learning about their history, historical and artistic heritage, the figures who have shaped their history, and some interesting legends and anecdotes. They are entertaining and rigorous, and certainly not boring. The guides ensure a pleasant experience and offer all kinds of useful advice for travelers and visitors to the province of Jaén. Visits can be made on the same day (one guided tour in the morning - starting at 11:00 a.m. - and another in the afternoon - starting at 5:00 p.m.). It is advisable to check the afternoon schedule in summer, months of July and August). You can also choose to take the guided tours on different days, consecutive or not. Travel between cities is not covered; this must be done by visitors.

Nice and didactic, essential to put in context the importance and beauty of these beautiful towns. Very professional guides, with special mention to Nazareth.
We couldn't have been happier with the treatment we received from this small but professional travel agency. I wanted a tour in English because my husband does not speak Spanish and so I reached out to them months before our planned trip. I immediately received a response from Begoña with times and prices for 2 separate tours - one in Úbeda (with Pablo) and the second in Báeza (with Irene). The price was very reasonable for ~ a two hour tour of each town. She told me we could pay for both at the office on the day of our first tour. She even changed the normal hour of one of the days to a bit earlier based on our travel schedule and followed up with me to confirm a week before our arrival. I was not surprised to discover that these two World Heritage towns were worth seeing. But it went far beyond that. Both guides were amazing: historians, natives to the cities and enthusiastic about their towns and their work. They were intelligent, friendly, and each of them possessed a broad knowledge of history. They were able to answer all of our questions with patience. They were never rushed and seemed to enjoy sharing their knowledge with us as much as we enjoyed learning so much and in such detail. In the end, our tours lasted much longer than the 2 hours allotted and became an interchange not only of information about Úbeda and Báeza but about language, present and past history as well as the past and present culture and politics of Spain and the world. If I lived in Spain, I would take this tour again just to spend more time with these lovely, knowledgeable guides. Thank you Pablo and Irene and Begoña for being one of the highlights of our trip. Thanks to you, Daniella. Pablo and Irene told me you were lovely; it's a shame I couldn't meet you. We're here for you if you need anything. Best regards, Begoña
Both Nazareth and Damaso were wonderful guides, continue with that enthusiasm and passion for your work, thank you very much
Very well explained and very interesting. The exceptional guide. Very interesting places. It didn't get heavy.
Our guide was Nazareth. It showed us the city in a pleasant, pleasant, quiet way. Entering the most important monuments and explaining clearly and concisely, its architecture, usefulness and anecdotes of the most important characters of Úbeda. We learned the origin of several popular sources concerning Úbeda. You could tell that he is a guide to the area, because of the enthusiasm he puts into his explanations.
Highly recommended, the explanations of our guide Nazareth were very good and interesting, it was a very pleasant visit
Muchas gracias por su reseña. Gracias por elegirnos y confiar en nosotros. Saludos!
Fully recommended both visits and very punctual both. Both Rocio our guide in Úbeda, and Caesar in Baeza, made us enjoy the visits alternating anecdotes, history and details of the city along the route.
Adrian made us the tour a very nice boy explained it great and fun highly recommended looking for place in the shadows as it was a hellish heat still made us forget about the heat and go into the different stories that we are telling very very highly recommended THANKS
Tourist visits to these two impressive cities are highly recommended. We did the tour with SEMER, very good explanations and knowledge of the monumental buildings and the history of both cities. We did the Ubeda tour with Laura and the Baeza tour with Cesar, two people who are passionate about the history of their towns and their profession, as they even exceeded the planned duration of the tour and they were delighted. Bravo for them.
My husband and I went to Semer to visit several places in the province of Jaén. We have two great guides (Nazaret and Marta) for private visits to Jaén, Úbeda, Baeza and Sabiote. They also coordinated the visit to Linares, where Agustín, another magnificent guide, accompanied us. Absolutely all of them perfectly met our expectations: professionalism, competence and kindness. We highlight the good management of Begoña Garay, the owner, always attentive to everything, who also provided the transportation. We would not have been able to carry out the tours without the collaboration of Begoña and her team. We totally recommend them.
