This was one of our favorite things we did in Sorrento! We loved cooking with Francesca and learning all about the Lemon Farm's family history. We then got to enjoy our delicious meal in the garden amongst all the lemon trees and foliage... wonderful!
We visited the Sorento Lemon Farm today today. 8 people in total. Our day began with a detailed tour of this family farm, continued with a class where we prepared some classic dishes and concluded with a meal which we prepared. We can’t say enough about the wonderful day we had. Francesca and her sister Cara were our caretakers for the day with Francesca Porte instructions and guidance while preparing her families recipes that have been used over 4 generations. The food was absolutely wonderful, the location was amazing and the family were just wonderful hosts. Take some time to treat yourself to an experience at Sorento Lemon farm- you will not be disappointed
My husband and our two friends took a cooking class with Francesca and Pia. We could not have asked for a better experience! They were so kind and taught us so much about Italian culture and cooking. We made a delicious meal that we enjoyed after. I HIGHLY recommend that anyone traveling to Sorrento go to The Sorrento Lemon Farm!
The ladies were very attentive to our needs. We chose to make lemon ravioli and bruschetta. The nursery was beautiful with lots to look at and enjoy after our class. We sat in the garden with wine and enjoyed our food we just made. It’s a family run nursery and lemon grove. Definitely a 5 star experience. We did the lunch time class we were there for about 3 1/2 hours. There’s also a little shop with homemade oils, soaps and limoncello.
Clearly a highlight of my Sorrento and Amalfi trip. Francesca was a great and welcoming instructor. She explained the reasons why certain ingredients and techniques are used and it was the best meal I had all week - snd I cooked it!! Their family Lemmon property is beautiful and I got to meet Grandfather as well - Salute!
What a FABULOUS experience! We were in Sorrento for five days and spent 1/2 day at the Lemon Farm - what a treat! Two of us did the cooking class making bruschetta, ravioli, and a DELICIOUS lemon cake! The location was simply beautiful and peaceful and we enjoyed the fruits of our efforts for lunch following the class! Instruction was great with plenty of time for photos, cold drinks and lots of authentic info presented. Highly recommend this experience while you’re in this beautiful part of Italy!
Our family of 4 went to the Sorrento Lemon farm for a cooking class today. We were greeted by Pia and Francesca when we arrived. Francesca guided us so thoughtfully while we made Bruschetta, Ravioli and a delicious cake. She was so patient and sweet as she guided us through the cooking process. She answered all our questions and we learned so much about their beautiful families history. We sat under lemon trees and enjoyed a fabulous lunch. Pia took over and served all the food to us. She told us so much about her life in Italy and shared so much about her family. The whole experience was amazing! Then when we were almost done, her father who was 82 years old. Walked over with his cane in one hand and flowers in the other. He handed my wife and 2 daughters some flowers each. Spoke to us like family. It literally made me emotional, my daughters were laughing at me. But they really made you feel like apart of their family. I recommend anyone in the area, book a cooking class there. You will not be disappointed. Thank you to your family for making our day special
We spent 5 days in Sorrento, and hands down this for me was the best activity my partner and I had done during our stay, yes we went to Capri, Amalfi and Positano! The place is magical with a deep rooted history that you feel as soon as you enter the gardens. The traditional kitchen setup was great, and very well organised, I’m no cook but was amazed how easy it was to prepare a starter of Caprese Salad with Grilled Mozzarella on Bruschetta, Main was Ricotta/Parmesan Ravioli in a tomato sauce and to finish a Caprese Cake, all of which was served to us on an idyllic table under the Lemon Trees in the garden (including wine!). The combination of this all made for the best meal I had during my stay, highly recommended!
I recently attended a cooking class at Lemon Farm, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and perfect for both beginners and seasoned home cooks. The instructor was not only knowledgeable but also engaging, breaking down each step clearly and encouraging hands-on participation. definitely a great place. to experience.
We had the most fun with a cooking class with Francesca! She is an excellent teacher and guided us to make a delicious meal. This has been our most enjoyable excursion. We highly recommend taking this class!
