Two Full Day Varanasi Tour with Monu

I would recommend 100% the tours with Monu. I spent two days with him- showing me and my parents the wonders of this special city which is Varanasi. He’s very helpful, considerate - flexible and adjusting the plan according to the age and ability of the participants. When my parents were tired he was offering other activities. He’s easy going and with a good sense of humour but at the same time with a lot of knowledge. The way he tells the stories about the city and important temples, is engaging and Interesting. We booked this tour to avoid all the hassle as we didn't wanted to go to Varanasi on our own. Monu was our guide and he showed us all the important places to visit such as Ganga arati, boat ride at dawn and Sarnath Buddhist temple. I spent almost 7 days in Varanasi. Every single day was well planned and organised. I was traveling alone so safety and comfort were very hight on my list and Manu made me feel like home in India. The private tours were always adjusted to all my needs. Manu was very helpful in explaining all the things that might have been quite unusual for me plus he was shearing his knowledge about the tradition and the most beautiful tourists spots. He even took care about me when I was sick and helped me organise tours in Delhi and Agra when my father arrived. I can tell that Manu is a very solid and trustworthy man with a wonderful sense of humour (which I adore!) and he can help you in almost everything, from choosing the hotel before your arrival to helping you buy and send traditional instruments. Recently I was in Varanasi and did a walking tour with Monu. The entire experience was great, it was a trip highlight to do this tour because there is so much information and interesting facts about Varanasi and its culture that after you learn from Monu your perspective and view change a lot. The entire experience with Monu was excellent; he explains at comfortable pace and let you enjoy the attractions without rush. He knows Varanasi and its traditions well and he went above and beyond to make my experience truthful and authentic. The price is also very good comparing to some of the prices I saw around.

The walk along the winding narrow allies of Varanasi was an amazing experience. Monu our guide gave us the essence of Varanasi along with more daily "simple" sites such a traditional indian gym and a traditional wrestling club. It was so good i decided to book another tour with Monu to Sarnath which was also exceptional.

Monu is an excellent guide. He has a great English, good pronunciation, knowledge of the place, in addition to being super honest. He won't try to take you to shops in exchange for commission. Besides being a pretty nice and attentive Cover. I highly recommend

I made the tour of Varanasi with Monu in two parts exploring each time a different neighborhood. I discovered places that are not always easy to access without knowing the place. I really appreciated Monu's explanations whether it's about temples, the history of the city, life on ghats, funeral rites..etc. Monu speaks English perfectly but also practices the French language very well. He is attentive and adapts to customer demand. I will not hesitate to call on him again if I happen to return to Varanasi.
