Half fig, half grape

2-day “La Saharaienne” tour with Otentic of Travel. Anwar, dressed in special Berber attire, is our guide and driver for this excursion. The circuit and explanations provided are very interesting. Departure from the hotel to Médenine exit Tataoine. Passage through Toujane and stop in Matmata, filming "Star Wars" for visit and lunch. Couscous on the menu of the day served cold. Departure for Ksar Guilane at Ecopark Elbiben to spend the night. Before the meal, ride a quad bike to ride in the dunes and visit the ruins of the Roman fort of Tisavar and admire the sunset over the desert. Evening by the fire , demonstration of baking bread in the embers with folk music. Frugal meal, nevertheless acceptable, and sleepless night due to freshness and night humidity. The next day camel ride in the dunes and baths in the hot spring of Ksar Ghilane. Departure for Beni Kerdache, another Star Wars location. Lunch, inedible because too spicy, in a big street of Medenine, on a corner of pavement with cats. On the way back stop at the salt lake,?, and visit an olive oil press. In summary, circuit is captivating, very interesting explanations, but promiscuous dining places. There are probably more typical and friendly places along the way to eat! To see, the prices of the quad bike ride and the camel tour for € 50.00 per person are exaggerated.

Just beautiful

Anoir was a great guide really taking care of the guests and invested in his mission. An extraordinary excursion from start to finish. Highlight of the show is the discovery of the true desert with the breathtaking sand dunes. Friendliness at the top 👍

Great experience

On holiday in Djerba, we booked this tour at the last minute. We didn't expect to have such a rich cultural and human experience. We met amazing people, saw timeless places and loved Tarek’s little anecdotes about his region.

Very nice experience with Tarek!

Magnificent experience, Tarek is very pleasant and a well of knowledge about his region. The evening under tent is very good with very good traditional food. The meat was delicious. In case of bad weather, there is a permanent structure to accommodate you. I highly recommend !
