Our experience with Chef Paulo was a culinary feast. We made a variety of dishes for each course filled with fresh ingredients and wonderful flavors. He was patient and we enjoyed his wonderful sense of humor. His sous chef was polite and helpful. So glad we decided to take this cooking class, as it was the highlight of our visit to Lucca.
Chef Paulo is patient & humorous. His skills as a chef and teacher are extraordinary! His quiet sous chef was stealth. She anticipated his requests and assisted both the chef and students. The food we created was delicious! Each student in our group of 6 was encouraged to participate in hands-on learning. Overall, our experience was excellent. It has encouraged me to take cooking classes anytime we travel!
We were the only two people in the early class, which was special to us. We made appetizers, pasta, pork loin and cannatuccmi for dessert. Not only was the food excellent but the chef taught both of us things we didn't know. We really learned a lot new and we will take it home with us. The chef, the entire experience, were great. Would do it again but of course another menu.
I got into this class not knowing what to expect (it was my first cooking class ever) and can't stop raving about it. I never thought I would be able to prepare a 4-course delicious Italian feast. Thank you chef for all your tips. I'm going to prepare this dish at home with my gf. Definitely one of the highlights of my trip to Lucca.
