Our group had a great time at this cooking class! We had 4 children ages 4-8 and the hosts accommodated them very well. We made two kinds of pasta and Italian cookies and were able to enjoy the pasta afterward overlooking their beautiful property.
We had such a wonderful time during our cooking class. The location is wonderful, the food was delicious and we had the chance to learn the secrets of pasta making. Definetely we recommend it!!

The chef was superb: kind, charming, precise, funny. The other students were super nice and we had a lovely time eating what we cooked .
Dear Darcy, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review, we appreciate it very much. We are so glad to hear that you enjoyed your time with us, and especially that you appreciated the chef — she truly puts her heart into every dish and loves sharing her passion with our guests. Looking forward to welcoming you again very soon. Warm regards, The Podere Spedalone Team
We had a group of 8 of us. Rody made sure to give each person individual attention. She made us feel confident enough to try new things. We had a variety of experience with cooking from people who had some experience making pasta to those who never cook. Rody made sure all were successful. This was the highlight of our trip. It was truly one of the best cooking classes I have ever attended. The lunch afterwards where we ate our food was the perfect ending. We were spoiled by the staff and enjoyed each and every moment. I have even been able to recreate the pasta once I got home!
Dear Stephan, Thank you so much for choosing us and for taking the time to leave us a review, we appreciate it very much. We are happy to know you had a good time at our home and you enjoyed making pasta with Rodi. We hope to see you again soon. Warm regards, Podere Spedalone Team

We had a fantastic day at the historic property & restaurant. Rody helped us prepare tagliatelle, pici pasta & cantuccui then we had a lovely lunch eating our produce with wine & property olive oil. We lived walking around the property interacting with the sheep, chickens & Bella the sheep dog puppy. A very special day.
I live part-time in San Giovanni d'Asso and am familiar with the area (NY City the rest of the time). For the White Truffle Festival in our village, we had 11 people fly in from various parts of the U.S. and Europe. We rented e-Bikes from e-BikeTuscany.com in Pienza and Steffi delivered them to San Giovanni d'Asso. We biked to Podere Spedalone along the ridge line to Pienza (8 miles) and saw some of the best sites in all of Tuscany from one of the highest vantage points. We then spent the next 3 + hours having so much fun at the cooking class and lunch at Podere Spedalone. This was an amazing 3 hours with friends and the friendly staff at Podere Spedalone. Everyone in our group said it was an unforgettable experience and so much fun. Make sure you start with an aperitif of some sparkling wine before the cooking class! It limbers up your hands for kneading the dough. Robert Tucker (Robert@Tucker.nyc)
