This is a small group tour designed to feel relaxed, personal, and fun — not crowded or rushed. Perfect for beginners and all experience levels. Meet time is 2 hours before sunset to allow time for gear fitting, a brief safety overview, and snorkel instructions before heading out.

We booked a whale watching kayak trip that turned into a whale watch trip with a snorkeling add-on. It caught us by surprise (with a change in time and location) but was totally worth it! Alex was a great guide—patient with a nervous snorkeler and adept at getting me back into the kayak after snorkeling. We saw whales! We saw turtles! We had a great time!!
Beautiful calm waters for an evening kayak. Payson was so nice. We didn't see much marine life, but still great.
We had a fantastic time on the Golden Hour Kayak and Whale Watch tour with our guide Alex. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience feel relaxed and personal with just us and one other couple. While kayaking we saw tons of whale activity in the middle distance, which was amazing to watch from the water. The snorkeling was also great, and we even saw a turtle being “cleaned” by a bunch of tiny fish, which was a really cool moment.
Easy enough for beginners! Took my teen son and we had an amazing time with Payson, our guide! We got pretty close to friendly whales and sea turtles and its a much more intimate experience than whale boats!! Highly recommend and just cant say enough how fun this was!! Im not super fit (or even close) and had an easy enough time. Payson treats you like family and this is a very small group tour and you are right on the water. The views are spectacular!!! My son will never forget this particular experience as it was just him and me in the kayak. Ive been to Maui a lot and have done a lit of whale and sea turtle tours and this was hands down the absolute best thing I have ever done.
We had a plan to join them for a whale watching kayak tour and ended up getting to go snorkeling as well. Both parts of our tour were amazing! Thank you, Alex!
