Truly and unforgettable experience, our favourite thing we did in our whole Balkans trips. Sarajevo has some insane and disturbing history and this tour is not afraid to dig into it. Our tour guide lived through the siege and his knowledge and stories will stay with us forever.
We did the Tunnel of Hope tour with Nermin, who is incredibly knowledgeable. He spoke from first hand experience in having survived the siege and his commitment to telling the story of the Sarajevan spirit was magnetic.
Good tour about the history of the tunnels. Tour guide was excellent, professional with good knowledge.
A sad but necessary tour to hear about the, quite frankly, horrendous history of the country and what the people went through. It was well organised and we also saw a video first to help set the scene and give context. These types of tours are always heart breaking but understanding the history is so important. Our tour guide had been a soldier in the war, which added extra depth and realism to the history he talked us through. I will never understand how people can do such harm to others.
We got the Italian tour with Mirha and she was very knowledgeable and a perfect guide, highly recommended as she perfectly illustrated the context and meaning of the tunnel
They will see our highly prepared guide, who lived through those terrible years of an unjust war that killed so many people and children, explaining while being available for questions.
Such an interesting tour, guided by Nermin, who gave us a fascinating insight into a terrible era in Sarajevo history with a visit to the underground tunnels and afterwards to the Jewish cemetery. We learned so much and it was all brought to life by our expert guide. Would highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in the history of the Balkan war of the 1990s.
Very nice and scientific tour. Perfect tour guide, with a lot of local stories and personal experiences. Very much recommended.
The tour guide was excellent he was very informative and the information was helped by his own experiences. There’s a lot to take in but we never felt rushed and had plenty of time to look at exhibitions and sites leisurely would definitely recommend if visiting Sarajevo.
Excellent experience, very emotional and full of history and deep cultural approach A must do The guide Nermine is a war veteran well cultivated and aware of the political environment , he loves what he do and made a success Loved it Small group, o time , comfortable modern car Perfect
