It’s educational to see what Belize City is like for locals as opposed to to the pretty beach and vacation side of the place. Many folks are living in impoverished areas but take pride in their culture. Elijah was super friendly and informative and has a lot of tips for travelers
Elijah was a real one. 10/10 for my boy. Service was great and family friendly!
Tanya was an amazing tour guide! Super knowledgeable and fun with her bingo card and little prizes :) It was a cool, unique, and affordable way to see the island and I was able to call Viator directly when we arrived at the cruiseship port, when it said it was all booked up for the day, and they got us connected to the operator for a short notice tour. Super great experience all and all!!
LOVED this experience. Tanya was an amazing tour guide. We got to see all the sights, learn the history, and the people in town were very friendly! It was fascinating. Safety was a concern for us at first, but not once during the tour did we feel unsafe. It was great. They pick you up at your hotel, the TukTuk is fun and has a nice breeze. I highly highly recommend!
Very informative tour loved learning about the local plant species and history of Belize. Great driver and took us by many local gems
We had a wonderful time. Our guide was Elijah. We arrived early, and he accommodated us. Elijah did a wonderful job detailing the history of Belize City. I do encourage you to take the tour of St. John Anglican Cathedral if available.
What an experience! Our tour guide was extremely friendly, professional and funny. She was very attentive to details and made the driving experience even better.
Tour guide was well-informed in many topics! Quite knowledgeable and a wonderful presenter. Customized the tour to our interests. Great! Note to solo travelers: Booking trips for one person in Belize was extremely difficult (April/May). TukTuk Tours was able to reschedule me rather than cancel. My experience: Solo travelers in mainland Belize in April/May—- in general, be prepared for difficulty booking tours and for cancelled trips or no availability if traveling alone. And be open to having an extraordinary time and unexpected positive experiences while in Belize!
Had a great experience on our TukTuk tour of Belize. Our driver/tour guide was well informed about everything in Belize City. We were accommodated at an earlier time than we reserved without a problem, that was very helpful as all we saw at the port was some shopping and bars/restaurants. It was very educational to hear about the area but if cruising to Belize City for the first time a longer excursion off to see the ruins or exotic animals would be a good choice or snorkeling on the reef. We had been there a few times in the past and had experienced those things in so we wanted to hear more about the city and history. This tour did just that. It was very enjoyable and interesting, our guide was very informative and answered all our questions. Thanks so much.
This was a wonderful tuk tuk ride. Our driver and guide was Kadeem. He was patient, and he took time to give us extensive details about each of the sites on the tuk tuk route. The company is a start up one, and if all of the drivers are like him, it will be a very successful company. The tuk tuk ride is also highly recommended if you are trying to get a short overview of Belize City, this is the way to go.
