A very pleasant experience for children — Bucharest really needed something like this!
Valentin is a fabulous TukTuk tour guide and driver. He has a wealth of knowledge and was able to get us into areas that are upfront and close to the sites. He was also kind enough to bring us water and a snack for the tour. Thanks!
Valentin was specular in his knowledge, driving skills, and photographic abilities. Highly recommend and the only way to truly see Bucharest. He was able to reschedule our tour to another day as the rain storm would have made the tour rather unpleasant. The authentic communist candy bar, warm wool blanket, and bottle of water was also appreciated. There was four of us and each one of us was very impressed. Thank you so much
We had the most wonderful 2 hour introduction to Bucharest by doing this tour. We learnt so much from Robert, our guide, about the city, it's history both good and bad. This tour is so worth doing before any other sightseeing in Bucharest as it gives you a good grounding in what to see and do later. Robert had knowledge, spoke well and was easy to understand. We can highly recommend this tour.
We were looking for a private tour experience for our short visit to Bucharest,Romania . The tuk tuk excursion popped up on TripAdvisor with its 5.0 rating and peaked our curiosity, as I had read that tuk tuk trips really vary in quality from country to country. Well, that 5.0 is truly merited!! We sceduled a 2 hour city tour. Robert, one of the owners of this small company, met us at our hotel entrance. He was very cordial and asked us what types of sights we were interested in seeing so he could plot a course . The vehicle was pristine, excellently maintained and easily accessed, even for my husband who uses a cane. The drive thru the city was well organized and because of the size of the vehicle, he could easily and safely pull over to small areas to afford us better photographic opportunities and share with us more indepth information about the sights. Robert is a native of the area, well educated in it's history and extremely fluent in English. He is an excellent conversationalist not at all like a typical tour guide repeating a bland narrative. He had some additional visual aides (photographs) of areas that were destroyed by the revolution in 1989 as well as some showing the devastation to buildings from a powerful earthquake in the 1990s. It made the history more easily visualized as the city has repaired/rebuil those areas. He spoke with first hand knowledge of the culture, education etc of Bucharest. It was a very very good experience for us on our first trip ever to Bucharest. I would readily recommend this tuk tuk trip without any reservations whatsoever and strongly agree with their 5.0 rating!! Thank ypu Robert for sharing you city with us.
What a fabulous tour!!! Robert was AMAZING!!! We felt so lucky to have found this tour and al of us believe everyone should experience this on their trip to Bucharest! Robert was so knowledgeable and made our tour so much fun! We did the therme the day before and believe so many people would love this tour incorporated into their Bucharest trip! Loved it! Thank you Robert xx
Highly recommend this tour! Valentin went above and beyond to make our experience both informative, fun and safe bearing in mind we travelled the roads of a busy city! Communication was excellent and he even picked us up from a different spot to make it more convenient. The blankets were much appreciated as were the complimentary Romanian biscuits and bottled water and recommendation for lunch. All in all this tour gave us a wealth of experience and cheered up an otherwise miserable (weather wise) day. Thank you!
Robert was an amazing tour guide. He was very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable as he gave us so much Romanian history on this very nice Tuk Tuk tour. He let us know when he’d be picking us up ahead of time and was a great communicator. We learned so much and it was a lot of fun riding in the Tuk Tuk. We highly recommend this tour with Robert!
