Description
I'm a professional truffle hunter from 3 generations in Alba. My grandfather after the 2nd world war was one of the first truffle hunters in Alba, he taught my father all the secrets about the precious "ipogean fungus" then my father taught it to me. I'm a dog trainer & actually I've got 3 great dogs: Isi, Palli & Lisa. I would like to teach "some' 'of my truffle hunting secrets to travelers. During the tour you will be helped by my friend Margherita. She's an official tourist guide with great passion for truffles and local traditions to translate every part of the hunting.

A wonderful fun experience we had a great time Margarita and Giovanni made it an exciting and fun day. Turbo the wonder, dog found truffles almost right away and kept going. Be sure to wear some good walking shoes, that you can get a bit muddy. Margarita head boots available if you don’t have good shoes it’s a wonderful way to spend a morning.

A wonderful experience with Gigi, a 1 year old Pointer. The guide was great, super sweet to the dog, gave very good explanations... a super nice man, with passion for dogs and truffle hunting. The wine tasting at Cadia was great. Nice tour, and top wines. This activity is absolutely recommended.
Truffle hunting was exciting, could be a little longer. Wine tasting and guided tour would be very good and interesting
Fun/Informative experience with super nice accommodators. We were able to find 3 black truffles today although it's a low season. ( if you want to try finding white truffles, you will need to come in winter. The dog, Hublot ( sorry if I misspell your name) is very skillef and well trained, you will be blown away. high recommend this tour :)
