About 10 minutes by car from Assisi you can do this special experience. Our truffle hunter will show you how to find truffles walking through the woods, how to use them in the best way, offering you all the secrets, and furthermore how to cook and enjoy them. It will start in the morning at the Winery. From there, together with a truffle hunter, we will enjoy a walk in a wood with trained dogs hunting the so called black diamond of Umbria, truffle. You’ll spend the morning discovering this ancient and typical Umbrian art and then we’ll go back to the winery to taste this precious ingredient in different traditional dishes paired with organic wines. Please note: We walk in the countryside so you need shoes suitable for that (runners are ok). Please let us know if you are unable to walk on uneven terrain, we will walk for about 1h – 1h30 in the wood, or if you have any special dietary requirement (e.g. vegetarian, allergies...) If we have bad weather we will be in touch to make sure you are still up for it!

- The truffle reserve is located 2 km from the meeting point, so it is necessary to come by car or available cab to reach the reserve.

This was an absolutely wonderful and unique experience, everything about it was top tier! We loved following the dogs through the woods and watching in amazement as they found the truffles, and our guides were so friendly and made the whole day so fun! The meal afterwards was an incredible home-cooked meal, with every course somehow being better than the last! We left with some of their homemade balsamic, and wished we had more room in our suitcase to leave with wine as well!

Even in the rain the truffle hunt was delightful. The guides were knowledgeable and pup Dodo was as skilled as he was adorable. Bring your appetite! The lunch with wine pairings did not disappoint. Everything was delicious and you felt like you were being served by family.

We had an absolutely fantastic day! The Tili’s treated us like part of their family. Dado the truffle hunting dog made the day extra special. We never had so many truffles in our lives. The food and wine were perfection and the views stunning!
This was easily our favorite meal of the trip. We loved the truffle hunt--it was so fun and joyful--but the real treat was the lunch and wine that followed. I have a gluten and dairy allergy and they planned the meal so thoughtfully around me. It was spectacular. The food was fresh, unique and delicious--loaded with fresh truffles. And the view was stunning. The wine is special. And the family was so very kind. I cannot say enough good things about this experience. It is casual and informative and delicious. Highly recommend!
Fabulous experience! Beautiful dogs and ladies led our tour. The country side was was lovely. The lunch was very delicious and included the truffles the dogs located and wine produced at the farm. I especially enjoyed the eggplant parm prepared by Mama. Met a sweet couple from Calgary on their honeymoon. Very nice visiting with them. Highlight of our trip!
Laura and her family made this day wonderful. Her dog Dado is so smart and found truffles for the delicious lunch and wine we enjoyed after the hunt. The view at lunch was beautiful and made for a fun, informative and delicious time.
