Troodos Mountains 4x4 Tour with Meze Lunch from Protaras
Description
Spend the day travelling through the forested Troodos Mountains and discover some of Cyprus' wildest landscapes on this 4x4 tour. See vineyards, waterfalls, mountain villages like Lefkara, pine forests and more. We'll kick off the action at the impressive Dipotamos Dam for a photo stop. Then, it's onto the sleepy mountain village of Lefkara, renowned for its intricately-made lace and silverware. We'll go a bit off-piste into Mesa Potamos Forest where you can take part in an optional hike, too. Once you've built up an appetite, a meze-style lunch will be served in a village taverna. Then, we'll head to a beautiful forest waterfall with ice-cold water cascading down 20m. There'll also be a stop for some wine-tasting, followed by a visit to Tochni village, where you can walk through narrow streets and try a Cypriot coffee in a local ‘kafenion'. A refreshing end to an action-packed day.

Itinerary
Visit Lefkara Village, renowned the world over for its silverware and hand-made lace. Enjoy a free welcome drink.
Drive through the Mesa Potamos Forest following the river upstream. Start your small mini trek through the forest on the way to the river. In an idyllic setting, you will have the opportunity to take amazing photographs.
Don’t forget Lunch: Included in this adventure package is an extremely memorable lunch featuring an array of freshly prepared local dishes including vegetarian options. Wine, water, and lemonade are served complimentary in this all-inclusive meal taken in a comfortable and clean mountain village taverna.
A fantastic natural wonder, a mountain waterfall with ice-cold water cascading down a rocky cliff. This paradise-like spot, with its lush vegetation and cool spring waters, will relax both your body and soul.
Wine tasting: our next stop will be at a local winery where you are able to sample various regional delicious wines free of charge.

We had a great day with multiple experiences, and friendly, fun and helpful drivers/guides
Very informative driver and lovely views( scary at times in mountains) driver always in control in difficult terrain.Unfortunately two of the passengers ignored the driver’s request to swop seats so that we all got a chance to be forward facing. Other than that we would recommend the trip.You need to be fully mobile to get in and out of the vehicle,especially getting into the rear of the Land Rover.
What a great day! Lots on the road, also off-road parts. With our guide and driver Andreas who can tell a lot about the area, culture and nature and an agile driver a fantastic tour. Good atmosphere with the other drivers, nice break spots and delicious lunch and tasting. You will travel through different natural environments and beautiful villages and views. Enjoy!!

The guide (George Michael) is an awesome person! He told us a lot about Cyprus, each destination had its own climate and George showed us a lot of hidden gems. Would highly recommend the trip, especially with George, the Cyprus' own gem :) Yeah yeah yeah, na na na na 🎶
A very enjoyable day out, visiting many places and seeing some breathtaking scenery on and off road. Our driver Tassos was the best! He was very knowledgeable and shared so much information. He looked after us very well, it was a great experience. Highly recommended in order to see more traditional cyprus. Definitely book this experience!
From the start Louis made us feel like his happy family. Loads of Blah Blah..lol Louis i Has loads of knowledge about the whole island. Very experienced driver. Loads of fun. Lunch was outstanding. Winery was excellent. Local shops and stops were lovely to visit. Could not recommend the tour enough!! Brilliant day out and great if you want a day away from the beaches.
