Description
It is a demanding and fun trekking, where you will learn about history, culture and conservation of ecosystems, while you walk and explore this mythical mountain of the cliffs of Cali. And most importantly with CHE trips, when traveling you contribute to children with limited resources.

We will do a demanding Trekking from pance to the top of parrot's beak, where our guides will teach travelers of history, culture and ecology of these wonderful landscapes, and from where we can appreciate on stunning days an imposing view of the cliffs and the Valley from Cauca
After descending from the top of Pico de Loro, travelers can enjoy a delicious lunch (included in the plan) and swim in the creeks and / or Pance River.

We pick up at hotels and hostels in Versailles, Granada, San Antonio and from there we go down the 5th street to the garden city, picking up people we meet, along the way.

After contacting them, defining the price and the person who would pick me up at the hotel, everything started to go wrong when I arrived at the town where my ascent would begin. The person I contacted never told the driver where he should drop me off to meet the guide. When trying to communicate, it was lucky to find an Internet connection point since it is difficult to have access in this town. After ascending and for reasons that I do not know, at the top there is a signal to access the Internet, the guide called the driver with more information. An hour in advance, this was sent to another driver who did not even pick me up at the point where they left me, the guide had to drop me off at an intersection 30 minutes from town. Already at the intersection we had to continue waiting for the other driver for half an hour, this driver did not want to drop me off at my hotel, I unanimously decided to carry out orders on his own and when I finished them I did not know which route to drive (at no time did he use WAZE) since he He didn't feel like using that application, I did and when I saw that it deviated from the route I had to get out of the taxi, I am a retired army officer and I have a safety net available for these eventualities but people who cannot access it This type of safeguard is a lottery that nothing has happened to another user of this travel agency. I urge people to be very careful with this agency, seek advice from others, look for options because this security issue is a kind of security lottery, please be very careful.

Very demanding mountain climb. You really have to be fit. The guide was friendly. The guide has a good knowledge of English. Maybe some narration about the flora and fauna would be nice.
Amazing adventure. My tour guide Julian was the best. I had a great time and to reach the top is very satisfied.

We had such a great time. The hike is quite challenging but it is definitely worth it. Even though it was cloudy on top of pico Loro, the view was still breathtaking. It's a perfect way to get out of the bustling city and flee from the mass tourism. They only recently started to offer these tours to tourists so it is very untouched. On our around 4 1/2h hike we only saw two small groups of locals. We received an amazing service and the Breakfast + Lunch was very good too. Highly recommend doing this hike! Thanks again!
