The hike is incredible hard but the guides where fantastic and very supprtive all the way. They gave out advice, suncream and walking poles to help the hike. They made sure everyone had an option if they where getting tired or even wanted to give up. Would recommend as one of the best group hiking tours I have ever done. Thanks guys
It was incredible to do this trek. During the route, the landscapes you see are wonderful and when you reach the base of the towers, the emotion is indescribable. Only those who take this tour know the emotion you feel when arriving at Torres del Paine, the eighth wonder of the world.
We took a bus to the park entry of Torres del Paine. There is a hotel in the park, with a camping ground, and horse riding options. From this point it is a 23 kms trek up hill. There is inadequate safety along an extremely windy stretch to reach a midpoint about 9 kms away. We did not go up after this point, but returned back. Only for the very fit and agile.
