Itinerary
Spend about 2 hours exploring Trang An - the core of natural heritage in a small boat, rowed by a local people. Visit many limestone water cave along Sao Khe River, King Kong film set and temple along the way. Come to restaurant, refresh and enjoy a special lunch with the local cuisine featuring the yin- yang balance of the Asian culture.
Take a bike and start riding around the village to explore the gorgeous rice fields surrounded by limestone mountains with a unique route and visiting a local family in the Tam Coc area. They are a traditional Vietnamese family with three generations living together. Here you will get the chance to see the house architecture and their daily life.
Bich Dong Pagoda is a famous historical and cultural relic in Ninh Binh. Its unique characteristic is the perfect combination of ancient pagodas with cross-covered roofs, natural caves and majestic mountains, and so on, hidden in the green of tropical forests. Visit Bich Dong Pagoda under the introduction of our local guide, you will get to know more about the Vietnam history and understand the origin of Buddhism.

Very excellent and exciting tour. Our tour guide arranges all the activities, explains the history and the lovely people of vietnam. Since it’s our first trip to Vietnam, our tour guide plays a important role in exploring this wonderful country. The food and the people are amazing. Very much recommended!
The tour orga organization was excellent. The guide -- Tom -- was very helpful and was connecting each and every one in the group with care and provided a lot of info. He was there for anything that was needed. The food was good. The van was great.
This is a long day. Over twelve hours in my experience but that came as a complete surprise when I finally looked at my watch. This tour certainly packs it all in. Up and down 500 steps to the dragon at the top of the mountain followed by a 4km bike ride stopping off at various places and taking tea in a typical rural farmstead home (the route is completely flat so a gentle journey past rice paddies). There are golden pagodas to see and 150 more steps to claim if you want to. A set lunch including the local speciality of goat with citronella was interesting - delicious fresh mango juice worth the journey alone. Floating down the river in and out of the amazing caves hung with stalactites was breathtaking (if a wee bit like being on a disney ride it was SO busy). A visit to the ancient capital of Vietnam rounded off the packed schedule. Tom and Jerry took excellent care of all their guests - bottled water and bathroom breaks were frequent. An extremely comfortable coach to doze on between adventures was very welcome. A great day, well planned and delivered with humour and care. Wear good shoes and take a sweater if it’s cold - you’re on the water for an hour and you don’t want to be cold! That would spoil a memorable day.

We did a one day tour in Ninh Binh from Hanoi and I must say that it has been by far the best single day tour we did in Vietnam. The organization was perfect, with a clean, new and confortable van, a schedule of activities intense but correctly spaced, great lunch and, most important of all, a friendly guide that knew perfectly how entertain you, providing the right amount of informations at the right moment.
