Great time and food with a local flare.

We got picked up and had a great private tour to places in Bermuda that hadn’t seen yet. Then after the tour we went to the hosts home and we made a very delicious traditional Bermuda breakfast with cod, tomatoes, potatoes, onions, avocado and banana. The host was very friendly and hospitable. I would 100% recommend this if you want something private, off the beaten path and love to try local foods.

St. George’s: You Just Want to Go Back

St. George’s is a trip back to the 17th & 18th centuries with the comforts of the 2020s. Incredible views of the blue, blue, blue water; some excellent dining choices; very good shopping. And helpful, kind Bermudians everywhere. From the new very upscale St. Regis to the nanyang charming B&Bs there are accommodation choices for all price ranges.

Home cooking

The location was only a short ride from Hamilton, and the driver was friendly. Upon arrival, I learned about the traditional meal that Bermudians enjoy on Sundays and was able to see how it was prepared. I appreciated the history and the friendly conversation. My hosts made me feel welcome in their home. I would recommend this for someone who wants to see the difference between dining with a local versus going to breakfast at a restaurant.
