On Etna you can enjoy the amazing view and you can see the craters. You can choose to stop and take an excursion that takes you to the top at 3000 meters. Afterwards, transfer to Taormina where you can take your time for shopping or you can see the famous Greek theater, walk through the main street Corso Umberto I and feel the history. Back to the starting point where you can finish with a Cannoli tasting (a typical Sicilian sweet).

Michael was a great driver, very full of information and made for a most enjoyable and stress free trip for our time off the ship!
We had an amazing experience with Michael! He was a super safe driver and very knowledgeable and informative. His English was excellent. We did not feel rushed during any part of the tour and got to buy some wine, honey, pesto and olive oil. He recommended us to try Arancini and focaccia which was very delicious. We would highly recommend taking this tour with him.
Our guide Chris gave us an unforgettable experience from start to finish. He picked us up right at the port and took us on a seamless journey to Mount Etna and then into beautiful Taormina. His knowledge of the history, culture, and landscapes was incredible—he shared stories and insights that made each stop so much more meaningful. Chris was professional, friendly, and clearly passionate about Sicily. We never felt rushed, and he made sure we saw the highlights while still enjoying time to soak in the atmosphere. It felt like traveling with a local friend who knew all the best details.
Michele was incredible and gave a remarkable tour with very good information. Personalized treatment made the tour of visiting Mt Etna and Toarmina a perfect combination with no wasted time dealing with buses. He gave a thorough explanation of all we needed to hear and gave us enough free time to do what we wanted at the two sites. It’s money worth spent and we got the feeling like we were family. The best is that it was just my family of three with Michele in a private car. He even made accommodations in waiting for us the disembark a few minutes late from the original meeting time.
Taormina is a beautiful small town . Etna cisit was shorter than i like. The guide is great and informative. Overall, very nice excursion.
Fantastic Day. Michael was our tour guide. He was friendly and knowledgeable. Our time at Etna was super! We travelled with our 6-year-old, who really enjoyed the Volcano. Taormina was beautiful and we enjoyed exploring on our own and had time to sit and eat a nice pizza lunch. They even accommodated a last-minute change in pick up location due to our cruise ships port change. I would recommend this tour.

This tour was voted the best by all of us in our group of friends. We were met at the Cruise port by Salvatore, our guide. He was knowledgeable, passionate, and very funny. We toured Etna crater, Taormina and a few spots in Messina. We stopped at an interesting shop for locally produced honey and had the most amazing Canalis ant the end of the tour. I highly recommend this tour!
Our family had a wonderful day with Salvador and Gino, our driver. Salvador’s was so passionate and interesting to talk to. We first visited Mt. Etna. Next we visited the little town of Taormina. We enjoyed strolling through this little town even though the streets were very crowded. Next, we asked to visit the nearby town Castemona for an additional 50 Euros at the top of a mountain. This little town was much less crowded and much more enjoyable to wander around in. We finished off our day with a trip to the stunning monument at the top of the hill, and then to the beautiful church in Messina. We were very thankful that Gino was driving and not us. And Salvador was an exceptional guide making our experience very special.

Our tour guide Michael was amazing. He provided lots of information about Messina and Sicily. We loved the stop to get olive oil & wine. Mt Etna was wonderful as well as the city of Taormina. Then we got to stop and see the clock tower & church in Messina. A terrific day!

Absolute bad experience with this excursion. First of all, they park quite far from disembarking area. Have to walk a lot. But it is nothing in compare with what they have done! We have booked a PRIVATE tour, and paid for this, once we got to the meeting point, they advised that we will be waiting for other group! Finally there were 11 people all together. Tour guide called the boss and some one has said that driver was sick and they organised the a group tour. I have never received any apology or refund neither from the company, no from Viator. They should be responsible for such things as well. But the best punishment - never use Viator again. There are plenty other companies who provide this service. BTW, a guide was not a brilliant one, not much information.
