Tour to Cachi from Salta

Description
We will head for RN 68 towards the tobacco towns of Cerrillos, La Merced and El Carril to turn off for RP 33 to the West. There we will enter the Andes Precordillera through the Quebradas de Los Laureles and Escoipe. Then we will begin to walk the famous Cuesta del Obispo, a meandering path surrounded by impressive rock formations and natural walls where we can see the king of the skies, El Condor. The slope will deposit us in the enchanted valley and the Millstone, our highest point 3348 meters above sea level. From this point, our landscape will change radically and we will enter the desert of the puna, where we will travel the Tin Tin straight, part of the Inca Trail, Los Cardones National Park, Payogasta, and Cachi. After lunch we tour the village with its colonial architecture that remains intact, its Church, its Museum that keeps the history of the indigenous communities of the area, and the artisan market.

Overall the tour is very good and parada Norte company is very reliable (I took 3 tours with them). BUT this road, especially to Cachi is so scenic that after the tour I am going to rent a car and drive it myself. Being squeezed in a van with other people and stopping more for shopping then for sightseeing is not the same experience if you drive it at your own pace. Cachi road is really beautiful, perhaps my favorite from all in Salta.
Mauro the guide is a genius, kind, willing, and enhances the trip by telling stories with great charm. He knows a lot and is super pleasant. The best trip so far, definitely.
We are glad to have met Mauro, an excellent driver, as well as our guide Abel, who is outstanding in his work due to his knowledge and demeanor. Thanks to the team. We will return to use your services
I highlighted the information received and the willingness of Flor Mendoza and Juan Soria
Very beautiful excursion! And everything was managed very neatly. The guide Florencia Mendoza is the best! In knowledge, friendliness, education, and in organizing the group. We loved the experience with her. And very good service from driver Mauro Gutiérrez. Very prudent and professional. It has been a beautiful experience.
The guide, Florencia Mendoza, is wonderful, very knowledgeable and immersed in her roots; the driver Juan Soria is a pro, the ace of the wheel, I would say, we passed through all climates without any bumps. Thank you very much, I had a fantastic birthday preview.
Beautiful experience! Our guide Flor Mendoza and driver Juan Soria were very friendly. They fulfilled everything. I would return without a doubt!
Guide Maria, driver Mauro, both very good
Beautiful experience, incredible landscapes. Maria was excellent, explaining everything about each section, clearly a person with a lot of knowledge about the different places visited. Applause for Mateo, the driver. Very confident and careful in his task, which is not easy at all. A very nice experience.
Excellent excursion, very informative and dynamic. Brilliant guide Maria.
