The hike is beautiful and definitely off the beaten path. Would recommend for anyone looking to explore the jungle and would consider themselves a little adventurous. The hike is challenging but very rewarding. Had around 1200 feet of elevation gain and believe it was 10-12 miles round trip. The wildlife sanctuary was very interesting and the food we had there was excellent. The coco tour was fun and very informative. Our guide Marco was bilingual and very passionate about his job. Of the three trips I did with their company while I was there this was my favorite.
