Let's start your culinary journey with a typical snack from Toulon: la cade! It's a thin and crispy chickpea tart that you may find across all Provence and the near Liguria - in Italy - with different names. Simple but delicious!
Let's continue with a classic Provençal aperitif! You will sip a refreshing glass of local wine while indulging in a delicious cheese tasting. You will have the chance to eat like a real Toulonnais while also visiting the local covered market, called les Halles de Toulon. Truly unmissable!

Engaging guide, interesting walk of Toulon with many sites and facts. Good stops to sample food and discuss. Good to do on day 1 to get orientated.
We had an incredible experience with Renaud on the food tour of Toulon. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history and culture of all cities we were visiting in Provence and gave us great insight into not only the food history but also art, music, theater and geography of France. The main meal for lunch for me was great, my friend thought it was average. And thank you for walking us back to the train station. I definitely take another food tour avec vous.
