Itinerary
This UNESCO World Heritage site is a complex of rock-cut churches and monasteries dating back to the Byzantine period. The museum includes some of the best-preserved rock-cut churches and frescoes in Cappadocia.
The fairy chimneys are the most famous and iconic feature of Cappadocia. These cone-shaped rock formations are formed by erosion and are a unique natural wonder. Visitors can see the fairy chimneys at various locations in Cappadocia, and some tours include a visit to the Pasabag Valley and the Devrent Valley.
Lying in south central Turkey, the moonscaped region of Cappadocia, southeast of Ankara, is most famous for unique geological features called fairy chimneys. The large, cone-like formations were created over time by erosion of the relatively soft volcanic ash around them. Past cultures have dug into them to create dwellings, castles (like Uchisar) and even entire underground cities like Kaymakli and Derinkuyu, used as hiding places by early Christians. Nearby Kayseri is the gateway to the area.
Underground Cities: Cappadocia is home to several underground cities, which were carved out of the soft volcanic rock by ancient people as a place of refuge. Visitors can explore the underground cities and learn about the history and lifestyle of the ancient inhabitants.
A photo stop at Pigeon Valley is a popular part of Cappadocia sightseeing tours, and a typical itinerary might also include Uchisar Castle, Pasabag, Avanos, or the Göreme Open Air Museum. Tours heading south to Derinkuyu Underground City or to Ilhara Valley also stop at Pigeon Valley. Travelers can also hike the 2.8-mile (4-kilometer) trail between Göreme and Uçhisar; the trail passes through Pigeon Valley and affords spectacular views of the fairy chimneys.

Too many shopping stops (3) and a very mediocre lunch. On the plus side our guide was knowledgeable and answered questions asked. The driver was very smooth not slamming brakes, etc.
Good tour, the guide was a freak. The tour was well organized and although there is some visit to some shops, you enjoy the experience.
Picked up at 9.10 and made so many stops, for apparently no reason, my husband decided guide was moonlighting as local postman. Got to Pigeon valley 10 minutes away at 10.30 had two minute talk and left to wander, no info on where we were, when to be back at bus. I listened to a very informative guide from another group give a very interesting talk whilst our guide vanished somewhere. Next stop Monks Valley. Couple of two minute talks, did we want time for shopping? then left to wander. Had to ask when we needed to be back etc. And then of course there was the unscheduled stop at the pottery where we were deposited with the staff to watch a guy make a pot and wander round a shop for 45 minutes. Next the underground city which was very interesting, although the guide got into a shouting match with another tour guide, and then an unscheduled lunch stop at a buffet cafe on a roadside full of other tour groups. By the time we got to the Goreme Open Air museum it was 4.00 very hot we were once again given the opportunity to shop before another 5 minute talk and told to be back at bus at 4.45. Three stragglers were five minutes late at which point the guide stormed off to the bus muttering he was going without them. In an 8.30 hour day we spent roughly 3 and a half hours at sights all within a 30 minute drive of Goreme. I can't believe how bad it was. When we got back to town the guide jumped off the bus not even expecting a tip ...even he knew how bad it was.:) We should have just got a taxi.
Tour guide was definitely worth it. Pigeon Valley is an amazing view of the valley, Goreme open air museum was awesome, Kaymakli underground city is breath taking
Here are the impressions of the person who carried out the first trip abroad +1 person. English level is in the middle of relearning middle school English. ◯The budget in order was about 20,000 yen (lira & euro) for the participation fee + required entrance fee + restaurant lunch + tips. After comparing it to other tours with one person participation, it seemed to be a little bit more reasonable. The guide in charge of the day was SEFA. He was a guide with a constant smile (which I couldn't understand) and used his English and gestures slowly and loudly to make the tour participants laugh and be friendly. Even though I don’t speak English, he was very cheerful in simple Japanese and answered questions to the other participants. △ It says "Japanese-speaking", but the only words I could hear during the tour were greetings, otherwise "Excuse me. I want you to speak only in English." When using a translation app, it is difficult to honestly use it in an environment such as underground or in a cave, or in an early move. If you're not confident in your English, we recommend that you pre-plan the history of each spot before you join, or check your schedule with someone in the room with a translation app. ※In my case, I was able to see the sights with help from a foreign tourist who spoke Japanese by chance. △ Due to the circumstances of the guide or driver, the order of sightseeing spots may be changed, and we may stop by shopping spots for miscellaneous goods and turquoise. If you are not interested in shopping, clearly state that you will not use the artwork even if you buy it or that you cannot keep it at home, and enjoy the artwork. △ Lunchtime was a reasonably good Turkish restaurant, so if you are the type that wants to make it reasonably priced, please prepare a budget better than usual. I had a lot of breakfast at the hotel, so I was satisfied with the cheapest food (still very good) and the bread and mineral water service. ◻︎After the tour, I tried to give you a tip (euro) that said to prepare in advance, but I got the message "I will not receive it. Take care!" 明 We parted ways after greeting each other (thankfully, but a little strange). ◯Good points/△Cautions/◻︎Summary of the questions. I made the rating "normal" for the Japanese language issue, but I am satisfied that I was able to visit the tourist spots that I was interested in efficiently for the first time overseas!
With the best of red and green, this tour allows you to explore Cappadocia efficiently. Also, even though it's a group tour and admission and lunch are separate, I think the cost is good. In addition, we were indebted to our guide, sefa yuksel. Even though I don't speak much English, he was easy to understand and polite, and sometimes he took care of me until the end using a translation app. Good memories of Cappadocia are like those made by sefa. It was a bright, veteran-like tour and reliable. Thank you very much.
