Your friendly local guide and the driver will pick up at your Suzhou hotel or Suzhou railway station, enjoy the comfortable ride to the water town Tongli, located in Wujiang city, the town still keep as the most authentical life with the history about 1000 years and preserves its traditional ancient residences along the old canals and stone bridges. Upon arrival you will take a scroll along the old alley streets and explore the Ming and Qing street with colorful stores, arts, handicrafts etc.
Pay a visit to the UNESCO site Tuisi Garden and admire the elegant south-east garden with charming architecture, rockeries ponds, take a break to enjoy a delightful lunch or dinner at the local restaurant. Enjoy a walk cross the three lucky ring bridge and appreciate the amazing township scenery.
Later drive to Zhouzhuang, located in Kunshan city, the town is famed as the No.1 water town in China and also the top 10 most beautiful small towns by CNN. With about 900 years history, the town still keeps its traditional Ming and Qing Dynasty architecture, ancient stone bridges and winding canals, spend some quality time to explore this amazing town with your local expert guide, visit twin bridges ,Mr.Zhang or Mr.Shen’s old residences and get a great understanding of the local custom, culture and sounds. Our day tour was fantastic, thanks to Michelle. Her knowledge and passion brought every stop to life, and the local lunch she organised was delicious! She was so engaging and attentive, keeping the day both fun and perfectly organised. Overall, we had a lovely time and were absolutely happy with Michelle as our guide.
Super convenient pick up and drop off at our hotel, which was nice! Lulu was the perfect tour guide. I booked this while my husband was in the area for work and couldn't have had a better experience. Delicious lunch and strawberries were in season, so we got to enjoy some of those too! Highly recommend if you're looking to experience these two towns and learn more about them. Lots of photo opps.

I took the tour yesterday, and it was absolutely perfect. It was a beautiful day! From the very practical scheduling and payment through the platform, I was soon contacted by Sunny for the necessary assistance. Taking a guided tour was very important to better understand the local culture, and Lulu was amazing. She is very attentive and friendly. It was a very pleasant day of sightseeing and conversation with her. The lunch, chosen by her, was also great! My daughter and I had a wonderful time with Lulu. I appreciate that the driver and her were punctual and professional. She made me very excited about knowing more because she is filled with enthusiasm herself . She is genuinely interested to share knowledge of her culture and heritage. We had a great day with Lulu on our private tour of Tongli and Luzhi Water towns. We appreciated being picked up earlier at 8am from our hotel and made it to Tongli by 8:30am. For us the key rationale of having an early start was to avoid large crowds of busy tourists to experience the beauty of reflection of these ancient water towns. The timing was great as we got to experience walking around and taking a canal ride before the majority of tourists and school tours arrived. We had been to the Humble Administrators Garden the day before and it was just so crowded which marred the visit. We enjoyed Tongli Water town more as it was more picturesque and had a deeper sense of history. It was pleasure to see glimpses of people going about their daily life. Lulu was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable and personable. She fitted in with our requests and took some great photos of us. We also had a wonderful lunch which met our needs very well. The water towns were beautiful and Lulu was an amazing tour guide! We were lucky to have her 2 days in a row. Zhouzhuang definitely has more of a commercial feel than Tongli but was much bigger
