Thought Provoking...

Fabulously put together. Telling the full story from before to after... quite thought-provoking, amazing, astounding, alarming, but absolutely fabulous. A must do!!

A bit of an eye opener

I learned a lot here, and its very interesting to be on the spot where the ship was built and launched from. They do a good job profiling the people who lived in Belfast, the rich and the poor who worked for them, the toll that the linen and shipping industries had on the common workers, and the incredible amounts of money the companies made both in their labour and even in their emigration to try to find a better life. Overall, the experience was good, but the museum does have some design difficulties itself. It can get crowded and there isn't a lot of room to move and see things, I felt particularly sad for a wheelchair bound person trying to get around and see the exhibits, it must have been quite difficult.

Titanic - what an excellent experience

We booked online to visit the Titanic Visitor Experience in advance of a City Break to Belfast. On the day of our visit we arrived 10 minutes before our allotted time. Staff were on hand to scan our tickets and advise us of where to que for the start of the museum/experience tour. In total we spent 4 hours learning about the Titanic, the history of Belfast and its related shipbuilding industry. We also learnt an awful lot relating to the community of Belfast in the early 1900's. The monorail that guides you through the shipbuilding experience was excellent, the information and the manner in which it's presented is superb and the artifacts excellent. We had a truly informative and enjoyable time. Its difficult to put into words how the historical human loss told in the titanic story makes you feel, personally it resonated with my feelings when we visited the Ground Zero memorial in New York. A great venue with excellent staff I would recommend the Titanic Experience to anyone who is visiting Belfast.

Well worth a visit

This is a great way to experience the rise and fall of the Titanic. Be sure to get the audio guide, 10 pounds extra, it’s worth it. We had no wait time and the exhibition wasn’t too crowded. The little ride in between is fun and informative.

Definitely worth a visit

Excellent interesting and accurate exhibition. It was busy at 10.30 on a Friday morning. Allow about 1.5 to 2 hours.

Wonderful visit

It is such a well thought out centre. The tour takes you through the whole details of the Titanic from design to end result. The ride inside the shipyard is very well done. Everyone enjoyed it. Only issue was with the multi media packs. They are not the easiest to use and you are constantly clicking back and forth to get all the information.

Tastefully done

Really interesting museum in the Titanic Quarter of Belfast. Museum did a nice job of lay my foundation for the times, the. Worked its way thru the building of the ship and ultimately its sinking and finding. I especially liked the recreations of the 3 classes of sleeping quarters. Seeing first class room vs second and third was very interesting. I also was particularly interested to see the many artifacts in the museum.

Fantastic Day Trip from Dublin.

Paid a visit to Titanic Belfast, and it was absolutely worth the drive up from Dublin. We left early on Saturday and arrived by 10am, which turned out to be the perfect time. The museum was not too busy yet, and we faced no long queues for tickets. The facilities are excellent. There is plenty of underground parking available, complete with EV charging points for electric vehicles. Inside, you will find two nice restaurants if you want to grab a coffee or a bite to eat during your visit. The exhibit itself is brilliant, featuring plenty of reading material and engaging interactive points throughout the tour. I highly recommend giving yourself at least 3 hours to go around so you can fully take in all the rich history of Belfast and the incredible stories behind the building of the Titanic. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and well worth it.

Excellent exhibition, engaging, interesting and very touching.

Fantastic exhibition, very interesting to learn about the background of the time the ship was built and the circumstances people lived in. The most touching is the wall of names near the end of the exhibition.

Titanic Museum long awaited visit.

We have been promising ourselves this visit for a long time and as we were visiting Belfast on a cruise ship we took the opportunity.to see it for ourselves. A wonderful experience and quite emotional. It is beautifully laid out and seeing the pictures of the building of Titanic etc was so interesting.
