The square is named after Albania’s national hero, Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg, and features his impressive 11-meter-tall statue. From Mother Teresa Square, we cycle past the Air Albania Stadium — the national stadium and home to Albania’s football team. With its modern design and red-and-black facade, it’s a major landmark in Tirana.

From Mother Teresa Square, we cycle toward the Grand Park of Tirana for the best viewpoint in the city— one of the city's most popular green spaces. Known for its large artificial lake, shaded paths, and open views, the park is perfect for a relaxing ride. It’s a favorite spot for locals to walk, jog, and enjoy nature just minutes from the city center.
