Our tour guide Tabitha met us in San Diego and stayed us throughout the tour. She is a very knowledgeable and caring person. She knows Tijuana, I would highly recommend the tour with Tabitha. Getting back and forth through the border can be time consuming, please pay extra money to get the bus back to the border. It costs $10 extra per person but it can save you hours at the border.
Its amazing. Great experience. Fun. Tadeo our guide was amazing! I will definitely be doing this again when I come back
Our tour guy I believe was Terri. I had been over come with the heat and humidity and we was very helpful with my problem. Good at explaining what places we visited!
Went solo to Tijuana but was expecting a group of people. It turned out that l was by myself. I was greeted at the San Ysidro trolly station by Andres, a Tijuana native and a gracious host. He escorted me through the passport control and walked and talked with me until l was handed off to my tour guide. I was introduced to Carlos, a Tijuana native who brought his 5 month old son along as a sidekick. Carlos was also a gracious host and very knowledgeable about his city! Everywhere we went his son stole the show! We walked to many different areas in the downtown area while Carlos game me the play by play of past and present history and events. He was definitely a walking encyclopedia of all things Tijuana and is very proud of his heritage! We ate at a local spot with super friendly staff that absolutely fell in love with Carlos's baby! The food was typical tacos/quesadillas, but the ingredients and seafood was fresh! Gotta love Mexican coca cola. Towards the end Carlos took me to an area of connecting souvenir stores that had an excellent selection of items of all interest and friendly vendors! The last of the tour before me and Carlos parted ways was a stop at a tequila store for a tasting. I didn't drink any but they had a great selection for alcohol lovers! Last, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR and do not wait in the long line to get back into the US. Take the $10/200peso coach bus that drops you off directly at the US port of entry. If you decide to wait in line, it could take FOREVER!!! My previous solo trip to Tijuana on the return to the US took almost 4hrs! Loved my Tijuana experience! My tour guide Carlos and his son were Awesome and l most definitely will be returning to Tijuana!
Andre gave us a fabulous taste of Mexico. He was simply the best guide in every respect. What a great day we've had. Grateful Australians.
Amazing experience! Carlos was a great guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and flexible. He adjusted the tour to my interests and made the day very enjoyable. Highly recommended!
First,I have to say, there was some apprehension of going to Tijuana due to recent news. I'm glad we decided to go! Carlos, our guide was excellent!. We got to experience not only great food, tequila and mezcal, but a vibrant city with lots of history. It was a truly enjoyable tour. Note: If you have a Global Entry card, you can avoid the long re-entry line (45 minutes-2 hours)to US by following the SENTRI line.
Excellent experience from start to finish. A great way to get a taste of the real Mexico.
Tadeo was great, very knowledgable. Be warned, you will be expected to cross the border on your own and meet your guide on the Mexico side, it was easy and fast but was not aware.
Humberto was amazing. Took us to an interesting parts of Tijuana, for tacos, beer, and tequila tasting. We took a public bus and on the way back we were able to see more "shady" places, so if you are going to Tijuana for the first time, definitely take the tour so you can avoid certain areas and feel safer, plus you get a history talk and best view on top of it.
