Description
This tour is especially recommended for nature lovers seeking an authentic and refined escape from the city. The experience includes a scenic cruise through the waterways of the Tigre Delta aboard a Premium boat. You may choose between a 2-hour navigation covering the northern area of Buenos Aires and the Delta’s narrow channels and islands, a 1-hour cruise focused on the heart of the delta, or a Premium Semi-Private option aboard a smaller vessel with limited passengers for a quieter and more exclusive atmosphere. While sailing, admire stilt houses, rowing clubs, and island life. In Tigre, enjoy an optional empanadas snack before strolling along Victorica Avenue and visiting the gardens surrounding the iconic Tigre Art Museum.

Itinerary
Kick off your day with a 9 AM pickup, then head straight to the city’s port where a sleek, first-class motor launch awaits. Hop aboard and set sail on a 1.5-hour adventure across the Río de la Plata! Sit back, relax, and take in the stunning views of Buenos Aires’ skyline, its lush northern neighborhoods, and the winding waterways of the Tigre Delta—all while sipping on refreshing drinks and enjoying the ride.
If you’ve chosen this tasty option, get ready to enjoy a delicious snack at Vivanco Restaurant, where you’ll try some freshly made, hand-crafted empanadas. Tucked inside one of Tigre’s iconic rowing clubs, Vivanco offers a warm, sensory experience in a setting that’s fresh, friendly, and full of charm—perfect for relaxing and savoring the local flavor!
Next stop: the charming Puerto de Frutos! This lively little pier sits along the banks of the Luján River in the heart of Tigre. Back in the mid-20th century, it was the go-to spot for unloading fresh fruit from the Paraná Delta, which was then whisked off to Buenos Aires. Today, it's a vibrant marketplace where history meets local flavor—perfect for a stroll, some shopping, and soaking up the riverside vibes.
Take a leisurely stroll down Victorica Avenue, a scenic riverside promenade that hugs the banks of the Luján River. Along the way, enjoy the views, feel the breeze, and make your way toward the elegant gardens that frame two local gems: the Tigre Deliberative Council and the stunning Tigre Art Museum. It’s beauty, culture, and charm—all in one picturesque walk!
Back in 1909, a group of locals got together with a grand idea: to create a club where the community could come together to play sports, relax, and have a good time. But they didn’t stop there—they added a touch of European flair by including a stylish casino, making it the ultimate hotspot for fun and leisure in Tigre!

It's a nice tour on a day with good weather. Our tour guide (Eileen) and drive (Alejandro) were excellent.
Our flight back to the US did not leave until later in the evening and we were looking for a longer tour to consume most of the day. This tour fit the bill very nicely. Our tour guide was super friendly and knowledgeable. The boat ride was very calm and scenic. The "snack" provided at the restaurant was filling and tasty.
We were picked up with the van right at our Air BnB. Our guide Veronica spoke perfect English for us. She was knowledgeable and energetic. The van took us to El Tigre where we enjoyed the boat trip around the islands. There was an audio of information in a few languages. We went to a lovely restaurant in El Tigre for a lunch - called a “snack”. It was empanadas and drinks. We then walked a short way to a tourist shopping area with nice furniture, gifts and household accessories. We appreciated being there mid week once there were no hoards of people as on the weekends. Highly recommend Veronica and this day trip.
The tour was a great way to see a completely different side of Argentinian life just less than an hour outside the capital city. Very interesting way of life.
Happy with the tour, with all the help and explanations of Micaela... she made the tour an experience!! We leave grateful!!

We really enjoyed our family of three trip to Tigre. Veronica was a great and informative and fun tour guide which made the excursion enjoyable. Together with Alex the driver they were a great team.
Maria gave us a wonderful tour! She was very patient and responsive to our requests! I would very much recommend this tour!
We had Veronica and again, she did a wonderful job. There was lots of information as well as just the right amount of time to explore.
A comprehensive tour taking in a boat trip along the coast northwards and into the fascinating Tigre Delta, a trip to the old casino area, a refreshment stop for some local delicacies and a visit to a genuinely very reasonable market.
