Itinerary

90 min

The Girona Art Museum houses the most important art collection of the Bishopric and of the province of Girona, which draws an itinerary through unique works of Catalan art. Next to the Cathedral, located in the old Episcopal Palace, is the Girona Art Museum. Founded in 1976, it houses the third most important collection of Romanesque and Gothic art in Catalonia. You will discover unique works of Catalan art, from the Romanesque to the present day.

90 min

Girona Cathedral has one of the largest Gothic naves in the world. The setting for series such as Game of Thrones is a must see when visiting Girona. Just a few minutes walk from the Basilica of Sant Feliu you will find the Cathedral of Gerona, a symbol of the city with more than 5 centuries old. Located at the top of the municipality, its only nave is the second largest in the world, only behind San Pedro del Vaticano. The 90 steps of the spectacular staircase will take you to the front door.

90 min

The best example of Catalan Gothic can be found in the Basilica of Sant Felix. The church of San Felix or Sant Feliu is a basilica located in the city of Girona, originating from the early days of Christianity. It houses the services of the Major Parish of Sant Feliu of the Bishopric of Girona, so called because this was the main temple of Girona before the construction of the cathedral. Its construction, in honour of the martyr Saint Felix, lasted from the 12th to the 17th century and preserves a good part of the Romanesque building, later completed with the naves and Gothic roofs and the Baroque façade. The main attraction is made up of eight extraordinary Roman and early Christian sarcophagi from the 3rd and 4th centuries, found when the church was being built, together with the Gothic tomb of Sant Narcis.

Unfortunately, we were only 3...

Unfortunately we were only 3 hours in Girona. Too little time for the art museum and both churches. We were very pleased.

Three places of interest...

Three places of interest you cannot leave out of the tour. You don’t have to go for your tickets at the address given. They’re provided at the museum.

Enjoyable visit

We enjoyed seeing all three locations and can only dream about the aspects of the cathedral and basilica that are not open to the public

Activate art museum only

The ticket can only be activated at the art museum. If you were at felieu this would be pretty bad, but still a pain from the cathedral to trek up there. The art museum was free on the Sunday I was there, so I'm mot sure I got much benefit. I would like the city to have a broader city pass including more attractions.

Well worth it

Well worth it as the price includes a fast track entry as others queue for tickets, you can go right to the front. Each location has our info ready, there was no fumbling. The price was excellent too.

Excellent ticket pass value and venues

Great ticket combination and excellent value. Both Girona Cathedral and Sant Felix were fabulous buildings yet very different. Great commentary offered by the audio phones at both venues. Thoroughly enjoyed the Art Museum with it's local artefacts of historical importance. Good variety of information.

Highly recommend; great experience!

The entire day went without a hitch. Everything was done efficiently and went smoothly. Every stop was awesome and the order of each stop made sense. Starting with the Art Museum then moving to the cathedral and ending with the basilica was perfect. I couldn’t wish for a better day. The audio assistant was great. It allowed us to truly get the most out of our experience.

Nice little tour

Good bargain for the money. Wish that an audio guide was included for cathedral too. Online guide for the art museum is allright, just make sure you have internet access on your own (roaming data plan)
