The Ultimate Go-Karting Adventure at Chaos Karts

Cannot recommend. We booked this for a birthday day out, booked the 12.40 slot for 6 people (which the website said was available). Get there 10 mins prior and get checked in without issue. Then the issues started, we are told that we can't all go on together at our booked time as they have 2 groups of 5 also booked and it is 8 people on the track at a time maximum. So, we needed to split up because of their error and had to split into 2 sets of three. Bearing in mind, the maximum on the track is 10 (according to their website and what they told a group after us) so as they had overbooked the slot they could have put the two groups of 5 together for one slot and then kept us together for the next one, not splitting up any groups. When we asked if there was anyway at all that we could be kept together as it was a birthday treat, we had a firm no 'as they are fully booked'. The first group of 3 then get called through, at 1pm (our booked time for 6 people was 12.40). The second group of 3 then gets called in at 1.20pm and we are told that we are the 1.20pm slot! So now, 40 minutes after our booked time and they havent even attempted to say they're running late, they've just split us up to suit them and make more money. As the second group of 3 was not called in until 40 minutes after our booked time we ended up missing our next activity and one of the group had to run over to the next venue and see if there was a later slot we could have, luckily, they did and were accommodating. £180 spent, would not say it was value for money. I must add, we were not a one off. As we were leaving another group of 8 had been split up to work around their bookings also. They had not been told of this prior either.

My teenagers really enjoyed the karts but it was Lauren on reception who went over-and-above to make sure they were included when racing with a group of adults. It was a busy day, sessions were overrunning, but she kept us informed and looked after us really well. We weren’t expecting that level of personal touch, thank you for making it a truly special experience

We had a great time at Pac-Man Immersive Experience 4/6 people is best experience I went with an 8 year old and she truly had an amazing time. You don’t have to run just a fast walk is sufficient to play well. Tilly ran for the full 30 mins and came in 1st place ! She is desperate to go again so chance are we will see you again soon !
