My wife and I had an amazing tour with Armando during our first trip to Mexico! What an amazing day! Armando shared so many interesting details and provided an experience that could not have been any better all the way around!
"Thank you so much for choosing us for your first trip to Mexico! 🇲🇽✨ We are thrilled to hear that Armando made your day so special and that the tour exceeded your expectations. For us, there is no better reward than sharing the 'hidden' details of our culture with travelers who appreciate them as much as you and your wife did. It was an honor to be part of your first memories in this beautiful country. We hope this is just the beginning of many more adventures for you both! — The Team at ABCTours
Geraldo was an amazing guide! I scheduled last minute the day before and he was able to accommodate me. He was personable and extremely knowledgeable about Mayan culture and customs. He even shared some of his family history in helping me to understand the history of The Yucatán and Konulich ruins. He was very laid back, made me feel comfortable as a solo female traveler and was so easy to talk to! I definitely recommend him as a guide!!

It was a pleasure meeting you, and we hope to see you again for another adventure in the jungle! — The Team at ABCTours
a great experience with Gerardo, my personal guide and driver. The site is fantastic because it provides for a different perspective on the daily Maya settlement life outside the large (and ceremonial) cities like Chichén-Itza or Tulum, yet different from the experience in Coba. The temple of the Sun God is majestic with the "mascarones" made in solid color stucco (I was not expecting that...). Gerardo has been exceptional in presenting the site including showing Mayan areas not included in the perimeter of the archeological field, like the artificial Mayan ponds, and in answering the several ethnographic questions I had. I cannot more positive in endorsing this private tour for everyone interested in Maya history and archeology.
"Thank you so much for your detailed and thoughtful review! 🏛️✨ We are thrilled to hear that Gerardo provided the deep, ethnographic perspective you were looking for. Kohunlich is indeed a 'hidden giant,' and as you mentioned, the Temple of the Sun God and its preserved stucco masks offer a unique window into Mayan life that differs greatly from the more crowded ceremonial sites. At our agency, we pride ourselves on going beyond the standard path. We’re glad Gerardo was able to show you those 'hidden' areas, like the artificial ponds, to complete your understanding of this ancient settlement. Your endorsement means the world to us and to our native professional guides. Thank you for choosing us to explore the true heart of the Mayan world!
