The Real Jing Jing Thai Food Tour in Hua Hin

Description
The term 'Jing Jing' means real / authentic. For us, it is about doing Thai food justice. This tour is deliberately designed with the more experienced Thai traveller in mind. It is for the traveller looking to find new and exciting Thai dishes that they have not yet tried. We try some spicy dishes along with more mild ones; all exhibiting that wonderful Thai ‘balance’.

Highly recommended! Many different tastes and experiences - very fun to try local food “for real”. Cream was an excellent guide - knowledgeable, nice and charming. Come hungry:)
This is my second favourite tour and so pleased you liked it too. Thanks for booking and taking the time to recommend us on Viator. Cheers Leigh
I first learned about the tour from watching a few Youtube videos. The locations were wonderful, we learned a lot about Thai cuisine from our wonderful guide Belle. Highly recommended.
Cheers John for your review and thank you for deciding to take our Jing Jing Tour. We love this tour as it shows you another of level Thai that most travellers will never experience. Kind Regards Leigh
Five of us had the absolute pleasure of experiencing the Jing-Jing tour with the lovely Bell. This tour included 17 different dishes, most of which are not your usual Thai offerings. There were too many highlights to mention, and only one dish that wasn't universally enjoyed (it wasn't bad, the others were just so much better). If you would like to experience different, authentic Thai cuisine, then this three and a half hour tour is perfect. Come hungry and pace yourself because there's an awful lot to enjoy! Side note - this particular tour does include a few very spicy dishes.
Hi Iain and thanks for your review. You have explained perfectly what this food tour is all about. It will challenge you and it gives a broader view of Thai Food that most travellers would never experience. Thanks again, Leigh
Belle was very knowledgeable about Thai specialties, along with the recipes. It was a great pleasure to spend an afternoon with her. She even got us to drink blood soup… and it was good! It was a great tour I would recommend
Thanks so much for your words of recommendation. That is what doing a food tour is all about. Pushing the boundaries, like you did, to find your next favorite dish. Thanks for booking with us. Regards Leigh
Absolutely fantastic food tour! We chose the jing jing tour as we have been to Thailand many times and wanted to try local non-tourist specialities. Leigh and Belle met us at our hotel and Belle took us on a tour of five places and in three places had 2-3 dishes to try. She asked us what our Thai food knowledge was and the dishes were chosen accordingly. She explained each dish and the culinary region it originated from so building our knowledge as we stuffed ourselves! Belle was great fun and I highly recommend a tour with Feast Thailand, you will not be disappointed!
Hi There Pauline, it was great meeting you both yesterday and thrilled that you enjoyed the tour. It really means a lot to us that you shared your feedback here. Kind Regards Leigh
Excellent tour with the wonderful Belle, our guide for day. We sampled so many awesome authentic dishes, we had a mixed range of tolerances to spicy foods, one who thinks tomato sauce is spicy. 🤣 We finished the day "as full as a fat ladies sock". Some Aussie slang we tried to explain to Belle. 😆 Would definitely recommend for anyone looking at sampling some authentic Thai food.
Hi and thanks again for taking our Jing Jing Tour. We love this tour as it allows us to show travellers the next level in Thai food: flavour and different dishes. Thanks for your recommendation. PS: Belle loved the "aussie slang" lesson too. Cheers Leigh
Great tour with the wonderful Belle, our guide. We sampled so many great, authentic dishes - most of which we'd never tried before. The dishes ranged in level of spice from mild to spicy (but not too spicy). Would definitely recommend to anyone who has a passion for authentic food.
HI there Lynn and thank you so much for taking this tour. It's one of our faves. So glad you liked it and the food of Hua Hin. Cheers Leigh
Fabulous food tour in Hua Hin. We’ve been to Thailand a few times and this food tour gave us the opportunity to taste new dishes. Our leader Cream was great, very knowledgeable and passionate. I would highly recommend this tour!
HI there Rebecca and thanks so much for booking our Jing Jing tour and we really appreciate your words of recommendation. Kind Regards Leigh
We had lots of new experiences, ate unexpected and delicious food and just had the courage to do it; but the most important thing was that we laughed a lot together and felt very comfortable at all times. Many thanks to Belle for this wonderful day.
Thank you Franziska. We really appreciate your kind words and so happy you had a great time on our tour. I will certainly pass the feedback onto belle. Cheers Leigh
This is a must do if you are looking for the real deal. Our tour guide Cream was amazing and explained what we were eating and the best way to experience the food. We tried an assortment of dishes, some familiar and some not. The places she took us were definitely off the path and delightful. Never be afraid of the food stall on the side of the road or in the back alley. I would book this tour again the next time I’m in Hua Hin.
This is one of our favourite tours as it does push the boundaries whilst showing travellers the next level in dishes and flavours. Your advice is so true. Thanks for doing the tour!
