Excellent experience, learned about the significance of all buildings surrounding Independence Hall while hearing ghost stories.
The other group on our Ghost City Haunted Pub Crawl tour canceled at the last minute, so we had the fortunate luck of two hours with Kay to ourselves. Since we were there for the dark history and ghosts more than the booze, she happily tailored the stories and lore to our interests. We even got to play with her paranormal investigation tools! We had a great time and recommend a tour like this if you want a way to learn about Old City Philadelphia in a unique and entertaining way.
Patrick Dubois was great! We walked, talked and heard great stories. Learned a lot of things and a few scares. Loved it!
Thank you for the great review, Richard! We’re so glad you had such a fun experience with Patrick Dubois. He truly enjoys sharing the stories and history behind every stop, and it’s great to hear you loved the mix of learning and spooky fun. Hope to welcome you back again soon!
Tour guide Patrick D was excellent. He was able to make the history fun for my teen daughters. He was enthusiastic about the stories. We enjoyed it.
Thanks so much for sharing this, Cristian! We’re so glad your family had a great time in Philadelphia and that Patrick’s storytelling and enthusiasm made the experience enjoyable for your daughters. We love hearing when younger guests connect with the stories too. We’d love to see you again soon!
It was a fun walk around Independence Mall- the stories were not even close to being historically accurate; it's obvious she has no interest in real history. I'm still not sure what the "Phantom Penance of Philadelphia" is... do it for the walk and the ghost-ish stories, especially if you don't care about the actual history.
Hello, thanks for sharing your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the walk, but we’re sorry the historical side didn’t meet your expectations. Our tours blend storytelling with local lore, and we understand that may not always align with everyone’s preferences. We appreciate your input and will share it with our team.
Ari was a delightful tourguide who captivated the teenagers on the tour with history (not easy to do).

Our tour guide was amazing! We happened to get a private tour which worked out perfectly. I would recommend anyone to take this tour.
Hi Miciah, thank you so much for sharing your experience! We’re so glad you found the tour both spooky and fascinating—and how great that it turned into a private tour for you! It’s wonderful to hear your guide kept things exciting and full of surprises along the way. We really appreciate the recommendation and hope to see you again!
It was a very cold evening. We had a nice time with this person, Pat. He was a very professional and humorous person telling us about a lot of stories. We liked the topics and the way he described things very much. But because of the temperature, we had to pause the experience after 2/3 of the locations. All three of us were so cold, so I firstly mentioned that we probably had to stop the experience. Above all, we were very satisfied.
Hello Cheng, thank you for sharing your experience! We’re so glad to hear you still had a great time and enjoyed Pat’s storytelling—he’ll really appreciate the kind words about his professionalism and humor. We completely understand how the cold weather can impact the experience, and we appreciate you sticking it out as long as you could. It means a lot to know you were still satisfied overall. Thanks again for joining us!
