Lenka is an extraordinary guide! She was so knowledgeable and friendly. We learned so much and really enjoyed the entire experience. Hands down one of our favorite tours we have done in Prague!
A life long student of WW2, I was somewhat knowledgeable about Heydrich and the entire Anthropoid history. My tour guide was not only an expert at her descriptions and history, but was a very agreeable woman whose vast life experiences lent a great deal to her job well done. This was a tour well worth the cost.
Lenika was above and beyond the best tour guide for this experience. She knows and shares the history in a relatable and interesting manner. She is a story teller. We knew very little of Anthropoid, the curve or Lidice before our tour, but she brought it all to life for us. I highly recommend this tour!! We all should remember what happened to people because of the Nazis.
What a great tour! It was so interesting and Lenka was a great guide! We really enjoyed our day with her and would highly recommend this opportunity to learn something new about WWII History as it relates to Prague and the Czech Republic. A must do!!
You learn so much more than you might have seen in the movie. Lena was a wonderful tour guide who gave a tremendous amount of detail on the Anthropoid operation. The visit to Lidice was eye opening.
The experience is heart-rending, tragic and a demonstration of mankind's almost unbelievable capacity for cruelty. The setting is idyllic but the reality is deeply disturbing.
Full storey from the background of the mission to the location of the assassination of Heydrich to the drama that enfolded and the brutal consequences of this mission
If you’re interested in the story of Heydrick and his assassination in Prague during world war 2, this is a must do tour. The tour includes an extended visit to the three major sites—the actual location of the attack by the assassins, the church where they hid and were later discovered and died, and the former town of Lidice, which the Nazis destroyed in retaliation for the attack. Lanka, the tour guide, provides transportation to the location of the attack as well as to Lidice. She provides as much background information as you need at each stop. There are wonderful memorials at each location. A wonderful day!
Visiting the actual sites of the events with private guide and driver feeling like we were reliving history and having personal one on one time learning the complicated history of Czech Republic
Lenka is extremely knowledgeable and a great guide. This tour was enriching, and contextualised and gave so much insight into Anthropoid and surrounding events.
