John is an excellent guide and all the stops were interesting. Do be prepared to walk a bunch, but completely worth it.

The private walking tour was the best tour I have ever been on. Our guide, John was fabulous. He texted during the afternoon to make sure we would be ready for the tour and where to meet. Several times in the tour we had other groups of people stop to listen to John. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the area and made the information enjoyable to hear. He knew the best picture views and made sure we got great pictures to remember our visit. At the end of our tour he made sure we got back to the street where our car was parked. It was out of his way but he still took his time to make sure we got to our car safely. I would highly recommend John, our tour guide, the evening walking tour and the company, Viator. Thank you for helping make our trip to Washington DC so memorable.
Stephen was a fantastic guide! The buildings and monuments were incredible lit up at night, but the history and the stories shared by our guide really made for a richer experience. The tour company was very flexible and allowed us to move the time to later in the day to ensure the tour was after sunset. They also provided the guide's name and contact information the night before, and the stellar communication was much appreciated.
