After enjoying magical sunrise view, Himalayas and lovely breakfast, we start the hike which is truly local life experience with valley view. Passing through typical Tamang village, encountering many goats and chickens, interacting with locals in the fresh air with magical mountains view along the hike. Also passing Buddha peace park, Jalpadevi Temple then walking through very peaceful forest where sometimes have a chance to observe deers and monkeys. Arriving at ChanguNarayan temple at the end of your hike, visit the oldest temple of Nepal and listen stories from your guide. The hiking part is mostly downhill covering 12km in distance.
Arriving at Changu Narayan temple at the end of your hike, visiting this monument is a true glance of Nepal's historic arts and cultural preservation. This is the UNESCO world heritage site dates back to 3rd century AD. Beautifully decorated with tiny shops like handicrafts, paintings and keeping Nepal's handicraft tradition alive.
On the drive back to the city, we will pass by Bhaktapur Durbar Square which is the most beautiful historical royal palace in Kathmandu valley. We had the most beautiful experience in Kathmandu with Shishir today. We were picked up from our hotel & went to Nagarkot for the sunrise & mountains view. We was lucky to find the clear weather after last night rain. Hiking through the local villages & forest part was very beautiful & memorable. Shishir knowledge about history, culture, nature & mountains was so amazing. We shared many knowledge during the hike. Visiting ChanguNarayan temple & Bhaktapur durbar square was so amazing history & culture to witness. We felt very lucky to share this beautiful day with Shishir. This was an unforgettable adventure and would not have been the same without my lovely guide Shishir! We had the clear weather and we saw the panaromic views of the Himalayas with sunrise view. Hiking through the local villages was the true glance to see the mountain peoples life and very scenic too. We visited ChanguNarayan temple at the end of our hike which is a very unique temple in Kathmandu. This tour gave us true opportunity to see mountains, hiking, culture & tons of information about Nepal. Shishir's knowledge was so deep & he shared everything we wanted to know about. We stayed 2 weeks in Nepal & toured around & this was the most beautiful & memorable one. The driver Gopal had the great skill to drive through the mountain road & Kathmandu traffic & very safe. We have had such a wonderful and rich day🙏 and we are so thankful that we could spend it with Shishir and our driver. Both are amazing, the driver is very professional and so kind.
