Walked in and got tickets, the staff were very kind. Overall the tour was very informative and even after taking many tours over the past 6 days I have been in Dublin, I still learned a lot. I would say this tour is definitely worth doing. Evan was a great guide and made the experience a lot more enjoyable than just stating facts using his humor. The walls were covered in different things and would have been very overwhelming without a guide. The tour being given in an entertaining way made it easier to understand and absorb the info.
Great experience. Sang to by George and the tour was with Saul. The museum is fabulous. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Worth every penny.
Myself and my two kids did the walking tour of St.Stephens Green! George our guide was excellent, really engaging and very friendly, he made time to chat to the kids as we walked and knew a lot about the park.
We came across this by accident and very glad we did. The museum is chockablock full of information and memorabilia. Our guide Cal was engaging and knowledgeable. We learnt a lot about Dublin and it's past difficulties as well as its successes. I would recommend allowing a good 1.5 hours to take the tour and absorb the plentiful information.
It was a very fun tour and museum. Daryl, the tour guide, (other than his bad humor, lol) was excellent. He was entertaining and was very interactive with the guests. An excellent way to spend a portion of a vacation morning!!
It was amazing!!! Cal was our tour guide and he could tell everything so funny and that you want to listen. I’m not very good with museums I can’t concentrate very well but he was telling it to us in a way you want to pay attention. It was interesting that you in the beginning had to like “introduce” yourself to the person next to you in the beginning but it was fun and cal also like asked us questions which was fun you know he really involved us which is good cause you feel included. I would 1000000% go again just to get the experience again. I would 100% recommend it if your in Dublin! And also a praise to cal for doing this at his age and beginning so cheerful and telling it in a way as if he has been doing it his entire life!
Now Evan gave us a lesson in History I´m not soon to forget. The museum is so packed with history and artefacts, that the half hour feels like both 10 minutes and 2 hours! Evan keeps you on your toes, it´s never a dull moment! Witness his magic tricks while picking up your jaw from the old wooden floors! Get your geese in a row, book online and fer cryin´out loud, buy some trinkets from the gift shop! Remember Evan, craic is gøy in Norwegian!
Took friends who were visiting from California. What a wonderful way to give them insight of Ireland with lots of laughs. Emma did a great presentation. The staff are very friendly and helpful. This will now be on my to go to list for all my visitors.
The staff are delightful. Saul who conducted the tour in character was knowledgeable and entertaining. The exhibition materials interesting but it is the immersive and entertaining presentation that makes this a special experience
Such a gem in Dublin! Quirky, entertaining and informative. Evan, our host for the event, was knowledgeable and engaging. What a great way to get an overview of the history of Ireland. Would recommend to anyone visiting Dublin!
