Next, we journey to Peru with a stop at China Chilcano. Here, you'll experience a fascinating fusion of Peruvian, Chinese, and Japanese culinary traditions. Enjoy a refreshing Pisco-based cocktail paired with a flavorful tasting that perfectly represents this unique and delicious culinary crossroads.
Prepare to be transported to Spain as we step into the vibrant, bustling atmosphere of Jaleo. This is the restaurant that started it all! We'll enjoy a classic taste of Spain with iconic tapas, paired with your choice of a classic sherry tasting or a glass of refreshing sangria, celebrating the traditional flavors that first captured the heart of the capital.

We are family from DC and love Jose Andre’s food. So this tour was perfect for us. Dash- our guide- was very informative and interesting. We enjoyed the food and the drinks. Overall, this was a lot of fun. It just felt like the food we got was very little compared to the price we paid for the tour. If the tour was intended to introduce Jose’s cuisine to travelers, it did not do any justice to his food. However, since we are familiar with his cuisine, it did not matter to us.

Dash was a great tour guide. He told interesting stories about Jose Andres, the cuisines and cultures for each restaurant, and several buildings in the area. I left the tour very full, but I could see someone much larger than 5'2" me feeling less satisfied. I did not have the alcohol pairing, but others on the tour did. If you cannot handle 4 full cocktails in 3 hours, think hard about paying extra for the drinks. They did look delicious, but I wouldn't have been able to do it. We did not get anything sweet during the tour, so I did say it would be interesting if the tour included a dessert. Otherwise, the food tour is a fantastic way of trying a diverse array of foods while hearing about a formidable and interesting chef.

For those that may feel that 4 cocktails is a bit much, we invite folks (especially couples/pairs) to order 1 drink pairing to share between multiple people.
